People who are mentioning how the Vietnamese treat certain animals when eating them. Unfortunately many are poorer and can't afford to put their dogs in designer clothing or send them to dog psychics. It's a different culture, and I believe many do not eat dogs (although of course some others do). What's with this idea in North America that certain animals have more rights than others? Do you see the way North American's treat chickens, cows, pigs etc? Cruelty is a matter of perception.
I am Canadian but Vietnamese by birth and have never eaten dog but to say horrible things about a culture you know nothing about, and have no experience living in. It's easy to say what is right and wrong when you happen to live in an affluent part of the world. Unless you don't eat meat at all, or you only eat free-range organic humane meat, I don't think you can really comment as to what is cruel and what isn't. I bet visiting a slaughter house in the US would show you what cruelty really is.

Sau khi qua Bắc Kinh họp với lãnh đạo quân đội Trung Quốc vào ngày 29 tháng 8 vừa qua, Thứ Trưởng Quốc Phòng Việt Nam Nguyễn Chí Vịnh tuyên bố sẽ kiên quyết xử lý những vụ biểu tình chống Trung cộng tại Việt Nam, không để sự việc tái diễn như trước.
Trung cộng bắn giết ngư dân, tấn công các tàu Việt Nam ngay trên lãnh hải Việt Nam, nhưng lại vu cáo ngư dân và các tàu của Việt Nam xâm phạm lãnh hải của Trung cộng. Thế mà nhà cầm quyền Việt cộng không dám phản đối, như thể đã ngầm chấp nhận lãnh hải trước đây của Việt Nam hiện nay đã thuộc về Trung cộng, và hành động trên của Trung cộng là hoàn toàn đúng.
Công nhân Trung cộng nhập cư vào Việt Nam nhiều khi đánh đập, ức hiếp, đối xử bất công với dân Việt, nhưng công an CSVN không dám can thiệp để bênh vực và bảo vệ dân mình, làm như Việt Nam đã hoàn toàn thuộc chủ quyền của Trung cộng rồi.
Việt cộng tạo cho dân Tầu mới nhập cư vào Việt Nam nhiều điều kiện thuận lợi để sinh sống bằng cách cho các công ty Trung cộng trúng thầu hầu hết các dự án thi công tại Việt Nam. Các công ty này ưu tiên tuyển nhân công Tầu vào làm, trong khi dân Việt thiếu công ăn việc làm trầm trọng.
Việt cộng cho dân Trung cộng tự do nhập cư vào Việt Nam không cần visa, tạo điều kiện cho Trung cộng lập các làng, các đô thị riêng, các trung tâm du lịch của Tầu tại Việt Nam ở những nơi thuận lợi nhất. Hiện nay, đã có hàng triệu người dân Trung cộng vào Việt Nam định cư sinh sống và số người Tầu nhập cư vào Việt Nam ngày càng gia tăng.
Bằng dự án bauxít, Việt cộng để Trung cộng làm chủ Tây Nguyên, đưa người của họ vào Tây Nguyên, bất chấp điều đó vô cùng nguy hiểm cho nền an ninh quốc gia. Trước đó, Việt cộng đã nhượng cho Trung cộng hàng ngàn km2 đất và hàng chục ngàn km2 biển. Về sau lại còn cho Trung cộng thuê các rừng đầu nguồn 50 năm với giá rẻ mạt để họ tự do làm gì thì làm, kể cả lập căn cứ quân sự...
Trung cộng lợi dụng tham vọng của Bộ Chính Trị Việt cộng để thôn tính Việt Nam, nhất là lợi dụng thái độ cậy dựa, sẵn sàng đồng lõa, tiếp tay bán nước của Việt cộng, còn CSVN thì lợi sự bảo trợ của Trung cộng để giữ mãi độc quyền cai trị đất nước dẫu phải trả giá bằng những mật ước bán nước.
Ðộc tài và bất nhân như vậy, Việt cộng rất sợ nhân dân âm thầm hoặc công khai chống đối. Ðể đề phòng bị nhân dân lật đổ, CSVN phải cậy dựa vào sự bảo trợ của Liên Xô và Trung cộng. Liên Xô sụp đổ, CSVN phải bám chặt vào đàn anh Trung cộng.
Trong bối cảnh ấy, dân tộc Việt Nam trở thành nạn nhân của hai tham vọng trên.

She always makes noises when we are sleeping or studying and invites strangers into our room and chat& giggle for the whole day. She also tosses the rubbish all over the floor instead of throwing them into the dustbin. Because of her I used to hate Vietnamsese so much but I also know other kind people from Viet as well.

There were absolutely nothing left to eat in 1945 well that was a result of a someone u so call "civilized people". if u cant understand our sorrow then plz ur not welcome back. @VietnamGuys I agree with you, my so called american friend (only by passport but not an original american settler by heritage) goes about the Vietnamese 'breaking the geneva convention' - isnt whipping civilians and raping them (btw the americans) and dropping bombs on random villages because u feel like it or feel like there's a Vietcong hiding there against maybe the geneva convention, or at least occur to the goverment as bad? and america was so rich barely any children would starve to death

Oh how wonderful, did you know that the Vietnamese eat and trade in stray dogs, EAT them after they have been kept in tiny cages and treated like nothing on earth should be treated. The Vietnamese people will get upto £20 for a poor dog. You should ALL think twice before goling to these places and give them your money (watch what you are eating iu you do) Watch Sky New and see for yourself.

@huynhminhtri No, I am just an ordinary peaceful lady who loves peace and harmony and sometimes finds it hard to see how one can be so cruel to helpless animals and dogs as you know are house pets, this should be stamped out and we must tell all who visit countries that cook and eat, also feed the same to their guests
