Japanese really put an efforts to this one so if you like something American or Germany car go watch those cars instead. man - that car looks great:)) but if you think of it a little more - this car is a bit of a waste of time - it costs about just as much as McLaren SLR did - and has worse performance then 5(!) times cheaper GT-R - plus there'sa whole bunch of other cars that are cheaper but still exceeds LF-A in every event... Lambo LP 670-4 SV, Mclaren MP4-12C, Mercedes SLS AMG, Ferrari 458 Italia, 599GTB HGTE, SL 65 AMG Black Series - these cars are cheaper - but i think they worth much more
Oh i don't question it's engineering supremacy or quality, but - if it costs this much - everyone expects it to be just as worthy... forgive me this GT-R comparison - but come to think of it - it is equipped with one of the best gearboxes in the world, it's engine is a pure piece of art, and yet it is one of the cheapest supercars in the world... and if LF-A costs 5 times more - they should've done great job, making it also 5 times better

先のニュルのタイムからも性能に関しては世界トップクラス。
日本人のものづくりに対する真摯さのあらわれのように思う。
このエンジンのレスポンス。濁りのまったくないサウンド、まさにである。
ただ、スーパーカーというにはあまりにもデザインが凡。機能のためのデザインだというが、それをそのまま飾りもせず形にするのではスーパーカーではなくただのハイパフォーマンスカー。そのあたりが欧州車との決定的な差のような気がする。
GTRの価格ならまだしも、3000万円超の値段をつけるスーパーカーに求められるのは非日常的な性能だけではなく、非日常的なヴィジュアル、所有感もまた重要だと思う。

Few people can really afford one. I've been in the parts business 30+ years and I see what I'm about to tell you all the time. I was at the Mercedes dealership, I heard a loud voice at the cashier window. A woman had bought a used Mercedes and brought it for some non warrenty repairs. She was complaining of her $7000 repair bill for the car she bought the prior week. The service advisor told her, "Ma'am, Perhaps a Mercedes is not for you." She shut up, turned all red and paid the bill.

Agreed, when my dad bought his Lexus, he constantly b*tched about how high his upkeep would be, not realizing that it's a LEXUS. So anyways the moral of the story, after i bought the car from him to shut him up, research before buying a friggin luxury vehicle, lmao

Honestly, I made the statement to show apathy towards Lexus' line and how their cars seem uninteresting and "soccer mom"-ish.
However, thanks for the lesson- it gave me a new outlook on whether or not you'd really be able to own a high end car.

It's high reving natually aspirated 4.8l v10...redline at 9k rpm ...The mightly ZR1 needs a supercharger and a displacement of 6.2L to crank out 638 hp. And at 9k rpm you could kiss your LS9 good bye!

man - that car looks great:)) but if you think of it a little more - this car is a bit of a waste of time - it costs about just as much as McLaren SLR did - and has worse performance then 5(!) times cheaper GT-R - plus there'sa whole bunch of other cars that are cheaper but still exceeds LF-A in every event... Lambo LP 670-4 SV, Mclaren MP4-12C, Mercedes SLS AMG, Ferrari 458 Italia, 599GTB HGTE, SL 65 AMG Black Series - these cars are cheaper - but i think they worth much more

Oh i don't question it's engineering supremacy or quality, but - if it costs this much - everyone expects it to be just as worthy... forgive me this GT-R comparison - but come to think of it - it is equipped with one of the best gearboxes in the world, it's engine is a pure piece of art, and yet it is one of the cheapest supercars in the world... and if LF-A costs 5 times more - they should've done great job, making it also 5 times better

They GENERALLY score higher in terms of quality but that "it's the way I say it, period" attitude makes you look a little stupid. Some Ford models do in fact score higher than their Japanese counterparts, and I'm specifically talking about the Ford Fusion vs. the Accord and Camry.
Plus, who cares, nine times out of ten Japanese cars are just big appliances. Spiritless, boring...
