  • Why you sell this guitar?

  • very very very nice 8) Do you change pickups ?

  • Is that tone coming out of that Marshall MG ? Cause if it is then damn I need your settings cause I can't EQ my MG for shit.

Haha nice vid man, keep shredding.

  • @Bryc3ee I am using a A/DA MP-2 Tube preamp with a peavey classic 60/60 tube power amp into mesa recto speaker cabs. BTW, thats a marshall jcm800 4104 2x12 tube combo amp...not solid state

  • @digitaldaze

Ahh what the hell, didn't realize they came in combos.

  • Very Nice playing and nice guitar I am getting the Same one same finish soon. I have a question is the Jackson logo on the headstock white or Pearl?

  • @FenderDMC dont know...sold it

  • @FenderDMC should be pearl, my USA soloist is

  • holy shit man, you're the reincarnation of RR!

  • I have to ask something.Since you've played both RR1 and KV which one do you think is better? Are they too different to compare?I'm asking cause i'm about to buy one of these two models and i want to have some opinions.By the way amazing playing.

  • @MaidenBeMyGuide the guitars in specs are identical except for the neck pickup and the shorter wing. The RR1 has a SD Jazz and the KV2 has a SD TB4. The only real advantage of the RR1 is no tremolo. Easier to tune and it stays in tune. Either one is a great choice for full on shredding.

  • @digitaldaze Thanks a lot!

  • @digitaldaze Thanks a lot!

  • @digitaldaze so the king v has a jb in the neck position?

  • @MaidenBeMyGuide if your willing to spend the money on a high end V, you should also look into dave mustaine's V and some of the ESP V's. all of witch are VERY high quality and are equal to jacksons usa guitars

  • @CemetaryGatesML Yeah i know about Dean and Esp.Since i am a Megadeth fan i know about Mustaine's model and i have checked the ESP V guitars the thing is that I don't want to have a signature guitar call me weird or whatever i do have many guitar players i look up to but i don't like to play on a guitar which was made for somebody else. And as for the ESP i think they lack sth as far as appearance goes. They are great but pretty standard V.Jackson has both the looks and great playability .

  • @MaidenBeMyGuide ya i dont blame you, i dont realy want a signature guitar either, but with some exeptions, i wouldent mind dave's orange V, or the silver one with the cool inlays, but the ones with the insane graphics are a bit overkill. but yea jacksons are pritty sweet, only reason i said the ESP is because their much cheaper than a jackson USA but have veryyyyyyy good quality

  • Does the bridge seem to close to the neck on this guitar cause i played on my friend's jackson kelly and it felt like a miniature guitar or something

  • Are the Rhoads comfortable to sit with? I have tryed a Kramer Vanguard and didn't like it really. Someone please help.

  • @Guitargawd13 I can sit with any odd shaped guitar....even a Dean Razorback. You have to use your right thigh to brace it...

  • Very nice playing man!

  • what's 0:51 to 1:10?

  • @LWRCftw thats suicide solution from blizzard of oz

  • my god based on your videos you're either filthy rich or a guitar thief :p

  • @geicowithdagheko1 I shower every day

  • that lick starting at :39 to :50 where is that from its a andy lick rite? what song is it from?

  • @feelthepain69 its from the live suicide solution solo I heard as a kid

  • @digitaldaze it's also on the tribute CD after suicide solution

  • ok thanks very good vid

  • which marshall is that???

  • @MrRandyRhoads1996 thats a JCM 800 4104 50 watt combo that had EL-34's and Celestion Ipswitch speakers. The sound is coming from an A/DA MP-2 preamp, Peavey 60/60 power amp and Mesa Boogie Recto cab... the chorus is built into the A/DA.. i used a delay pedal to fatten it up a hair

  • nice guitar, wish i could get one, you play really good aswell :)

  • what pickups are you using on your guitar?

  • @Uv7x77 this guitar had PRS - HFS pickups in it (Hot, Fat, Screaming)

  • @digitaldaze they sound pretty good

    and nice performance

  • @Uv7x77 thx for watching !!!

  • can u get the same guitar with a floyd rose???? same color?

  • @moneymoney220666 I assume you can custom order anything you like directly @ Jackson

  • @moneymoney220666 Yes you can,it's called RR1

  • great demo! love the tone

  • Who knows why Randy Rhoads picked the JB/Jazz combo? I have idea, but I don't know for a fact why.

  • Thats an awesome guitar, what kind of pick ups do you have on that? How much did you pay for it?

  • Comment removed

  • @gytarok Show us more.

  • @ gytarok id like to see you do better

  • Wicked man, you've got great taste for licks.

  • wow.......you are awesome!!!!!

  • ive played for 1 yeard and 0:41 is some stuff i was playing yesterday pretty weird...and i have a black jackson king-v

  • how dus this twanger hadle lik clean and bloesy tones

  • Obviously these are hot pickups, but they clean up pretty good..

  • @digitaldaze Excuse me, did you boost your amp somehow or you are just using the distortion of the amp? Besides - awesome playing and killer tone!

  • @Andybucker - very basic rig: A/DA MP-2 preamp, Peavey 60/60 power amp and Mesa Boogie Recto cab... the chorus is built into the A/DA.. i used a delay pedal to fatten it up a hair

  • question: if I get this guitar will I be as good as Randy?

  • that's a given

  • haha ok I'm totally getting it now

  • man i want that guitar so bad but in black and they are so expensive grrr out of interset how would you rate the Jackson RR1T?? just so i dont save up and then be disappointed

  • its a killer piece.. well balanced, great tone/neck.. go 4 it.

  • Good job man, keep it up!

  • beautiful guitar, great finish

  • wich song is the intro??

  • Hey man nice vid! You got a real nice tone there, what amp are you using?

  • he wont sell it now

  • steal it then lol if he tried sellin it for twenty dollars he doesnt deserve it

  • hmm mabe

  • think about it man if hes tryin to sell a rhoads with duncan's and a vintage trem for 20 dollars he cant be that bright can he

  • yea he kinda has a reputation at school to be kinda stupid. I'll just try my best to find something he might want to trade for it.

  • best guitar !!

  • i feel a huge randy rhoads-vibe going on there... well done man! beautiful guitar!

  • thx for watching !!!

  • the guy decided he wouldn't sell it

  • At school someone is selling a 1980's Jackson Rhoads

they only want $20 for it.

It has grover tuners a vintage trem and two SD pickups, other than that it is totaly missing no electronics no pickguard bad nut. still should i buy it?

  • YES!!! Get there before someone offers him more!!!

  • well the soonest i can get to him is monday so hopefully no one else gets to himthanks for your oppinion

    I'll buy

    I think it was a 1983

  • FUCK YES!!! FOR $20!!! What do u have to lose dude, do it!

  • Son of a bitch decided he didn't want to sell it. You know how pissed I was. I was ready to kill him over it.

  • dude you give that guitar the reason for it's design, good stuff!

  • is the rr1 much better compared to a rr5 fr?

  • RR1 = Made in the USA w/ebony fretboard

    RR5 = Made in Korea/Japan??? rosewood fretboard

The RR5 is a damn good guitar for the money, but you will always have better resale value with a USA made guitar

  • I have the Snow White RR1, but this one is so perfect !

  • Comment removed

  • and much of money, of course ; P Awesome, I like it.

  • Yey, Randy Rhoads spotlight solo.

How long did it take you to learn that??

    Was it tab or listening??

  • Listening, improv, luck and many decades of practice

  • For the suicide solution lick, I suggest playing the A5(the A Power Chord) using the e string for the route note, so you can slide and catch the Randy Vibe. Great 'I Don't Know' By the way.

  • what pick up do you have?

  • they were PRS HFS zebra pickups

  • up to the first minute or so is the live solo for suicide solution, there is a tab for it on ultimate guitar

  • cool, I will check it out

  • where can i buy one of these in black, iv been looking but i cant find one. PLZ HELP!!!

  • at the website "musician's friend" for $1,999.00

  • where did you find tabs?

  • no tabs... just years and years of listening

  • It's my dream guitar. In black though haha

    Too darn expensive..=[

  • A Jackson and a Marshall amp - whatesle you need? :)

  • lol a record deal ;)

but seriously, nothing beats that combination

  • a different amp...

  • some lotion and tissue

  • A roland FV 100 volume, vox v846 wah, a mxr distortion, mxr 10band eq, mxr stereo chorus, mxr stereo flanger, and a korg echo unit.

  • About 5 hundred more guitars..........

  • classic Randy live Solo, Great job dude

  • those riffs blew me away.. amazing tone dude. did u happen to replace the jb and tb4 pickups it came with?

  • when I got the guitar, it had PRS HRS's already installed

  • the usa model has an ebony fretboard.. check the japanese specs. As far as 22nd fret access goes, not an issue.. easy access

  • I would like to buy that guitar from Jackson Japanese branch. What's the difference? That one has 24 frets, and it also comes with a Floyd, as well as the traditional Seymour Duncan JB and '59.

But what I wonder is, "Do you guys have trouble accessing your 22nd fret?"

  • hey men do you buy all dose guitars?

  • my all time favourite guitar.

  • your tone is insane

  • good job on those rhoads licks!!!! he was one the all time greatest!!!

  • thx. He died just before I was going to see ozzy in Philly as a kid. Brad Gillis filled in and did a great job, but you know, I missed the legend.

  • how much did you pay for that guitar?

  • Hey man nice playing... Whats that very first lick you play from? Im just curious because I noticed Dimebag playing that lick in the vid from 1984... And heres a shoutout from another very happy RR1 player...

  • Thats from randy's live solo. You can hear it on the album "tribute" on the song "suicide solution", or most of the videos of his live solos on youtube.

  • hey,

is anybody interested in purchasing a new jackson rr1 in snow white with black bevels and jackson molded case?

i just got that one recently but i only played it once and since the floyd rose doesnt work for me i decided to sell it..

if youre interested contact me via youtube pm!

  • tell me thats not an MG series marshall amp... your waay too good for one of those!

  • that is a vintage 1984 JCM 800 4104 2x12 combo with EL-34's. The demo was shot with an ADA MP-2 pre and a peavey classic 60/60 tube power amp

  • yeahh, is a jackson rr1t, a guitar beatiful,

  • is that the original pickups ??

  • no, they were a matched set of PRS HFS (Hot, Fat and Screaming).

  • jesus you're very good. how long you been playing?

  • over 30 years.

  • damn good, i am still learning to play, but i will get that good one day:) I have more guitars than knowledge on how to play them, lol. Figured if I spent enough money on gear I wouldnt give up on learning, lol. Great gear you have also, keep rockin!!!

  • It sounds great, which amp are you using?

  • Its an ADA MP-2 tube preamp, into a peavey classic 60/60 tube power amp, into a Lexicon ALEX effects unit and 2 Mesa Recto Cabs w/Vintage 30 speakers

  • Thank you :)

  • how much..i want it...

  • 2000$

  • my dream metal guitar jackson rr1t id hav the vintage pinstripe and black bevels

  • That's the way it meant to be played ;)

  • I got my jackson stars rr-j2 today and it sounds great! But, i think my neck is warped from shipping from japan and the low E string touches the first fret and buzzes when i play it open... help!

  • try raising that side of the bridge. If that doesn't help, you probably need to tighten the truss rod to straighten out the neck. If you have never done that adjustment, pay the $50 for a setup, it will be worth it.

  • yea, i need to do some other stuff with my guitar i can't do. So I'll let a luthier do the adjustment.

  • Man if my local music store gave me cash back rather than store credit I would buy that off you right now :/

  • oh man that was prety kick ass dude!! wish i could play like that.

  • WOW

  • Sounds great.

  • man that guitar is badass kickass randy rhoads riffs that guitar sounds amazing

  • WoW that much? I was looking around the price if $800 or $900

  • He's actually offering it to you at a great deal, it's about 2500 new, well the usa rr1 with a floyd is

  • Hey, How much are you selling it for?

  • in this crappy economy, I would settle for $1400 plus shipping, which should be no more than $60 with full insurance(assuming your in the USA). worldwide shipping is $125

  • preety awesome guitar man

  • If your interested, its for sale.

  • yeah? how much?
