paul dear's 2nd qtr was 1 of the best in recent grand final memory. Think he took 6 or 7 marks kicked a goal and had a dozen possesions. I would have given him the NS medal on his 1st half alone, he changed the momentum in that 2nd qtr nearly by himself.
1991 was a season of two halves in weather and results: on the firm grounds of the first ten-and-a-half weeks, West Coast were supreme; on the softer grounds after that Hawthorn were as definitely the best side.
one thing i will always remember from that g/f - don scotts comment after a passage of dermie brilliance: "ahhh... the mature body of brereton verses the immature body of macintosh"
Dunstall was very good at projecting his body at the ball. He was not as good a kick as Lockett (in my opinion, nobody was), but he was far more skilled than Lockett, and a better team player.

Fantastic! My God - how good was Dunstall? Rhetorical question, I know - but some terrific marks and goals in there.

Of course, that's just my opinion.
