  • really informative and interesting

  • very interesting video thanks

  • What the hell am I looking at. How/W/W/W/W What...

Where did you take this--is this all one shot or multiple images layered?.........

  • @VincentVega44 Several images taken with different scale. All except last one, are amateur astronomer's photos. (Images copyrights are in video description)

  • Space has such a wonderful god full like painting quality of marvellous colours.

  • We always see these pictures and the dust clouds look amazing but do these thing actually move? And how fast is that theN?

  • Great video, nice "space" music.

  • pause at 0:29 to me it looks like an angel because the fuzzy parts on the side look like wings and the "horse head" looks like a lock of hair emerging from the angels head and the horse's body looks like the head, hair, and a dress.

  • Horsehead nebula looks really nice but my fav types of nebulae are emission and supernova!

  • ABSOLUTLY AWESOME SITE OUR EYES CAN SEE...THE EXPANDTION OF OUR UNIVERS AS INFININITE AS IT MAY BE...AND MADE OF TRANSLUCENT COLORS OF A SEA...LIKE THE ONE I CALL TRANQUILLITY.

  • Well the cloud casts a shadow so chances are it would look foggy like a steam cloud here on earth

  • Let us all thank to God these pictures and this things shown in movies are Natural!!

God made them all!! God helped us too!! God gived us a Gift this planet

and the body parts!! and Let Us thank to god because it has its own Church

and He Created the Light and Heaven! he creates us an Angel if we are good but we die!! and God created the people and our Family

but how about the Devil? they hurt us

so put you Faith in God!

  • @wengneuda13 god didn't give you correct grammer. sheesh

  • Wow! I love Horsehead nebula. Got to see it soon!

  • Where's Noveria?

  • What happens when we reach into a Nebulae Cloud? Is it like a cloud on earth where you don't see anything or are we too small to see the Visible Dust and Gases?

  • Allah is greatest...

  • What kind of telescope?

  • im i the only one who thinks this song is the creepiest thing ever.

  • Love the graphic. Hey does anyone else see another cool image in here from about 0:38? Bottom right hand corner looks like a person in a dark jacket and hat. Even has eyes , nose and a lop sided mouth. Trippy... :)

  • I remember as a kid I thought it was a man with no head hehe

  • @SolvedSnake There's no difference, is there?

  • I've got a question: Is space really that colour, with all those reds and blues and greens, or is the colour just added to the photos later on?

  • @MrHokeykokey: Two things: photographs collect photons and show the accumulation of them over time, something the eye cannot do. That makes photos more sensitive and higher resolution than the eye. Second, any Hubble photo may well be color enhanced to bring out the particular details that the astronomer needs to see enhanced - for example, radiation from oxygen. Just enjoy 'em.

  • @puncheex

Thanks for the info, I didn't know about photon accumulation. Does that mean that they wouldn't be so richly colourful if i was hypothetically looking at the real thing out of the window of a spacecraft parked up nearby?

I'm not criticizing the images by the way, I love them, I was just wondering how real a representation they were of the actual real life objects out in space, that's all.

  • @MrHokeykokey: No, they probably wouldn't look like that up close; we'd see them as washed out, but still spectacular in their own way.

  • my favorite place in the sky!!!!

  • That's Gods horse.

  • that's fucking mad crazy when you're high holy fuck

  • Thank you for providing credit to the musical artist! It is always a help to know the composer of beautiful music!

  • 480p is not HQ!

  • Holy crap, it really does look like a horsehead!

  • M42 is easy to find or c with the naked eye, and even cooler with a telescope...but M17 is very hard to find...

  • from what i have heard through those who channel is that we have a planet of human-race like humans who live near this nebula and have a connection to our current human race on this planet.

  • Please, track name? Tnx

  • Wow so thrilling. What was the telescope used?

  • The Hubble makes it looks more like the head of the Loch Ness Monster or some versions of the Jersey Devil.. This is one object that I prefer to see in old-fashioned, ground-based black and white.

  • incredible image

  • what song is this?

  • it looks more like a person that is walking with no head

  • looks more like a cobra than a horse

  • Track name?

  • i think thats the great horse

  • Hi, did u make this using a webcam or what?

  • the horsehead is in fact a huge dust cloud in the universe, its just so enormous that it take for ever for it to change the look

  • what courses do i have to take in uni to be an astronomer?

  • In the last 5 seconds is that a star being born???

  • no its not

  • Why do you think not? That glow looks well embedded in the dark cloud.

  • i know it, because i'm astronomer..

  • "I know it, because i'm astronomer.." ........good explanation

  • i didn't want to explain anything...you have asked me "why do i think not?" and i said i don't think....i know... and maybe i wrote this incorrect or something like that cuz english is not my main language and i wasn't sure how to say this heh

  • ....whatever, dumbass

  • Well if you're an astronomer english should be your working language..

  • I speak wery well, i anderstand almost everything, but my grammar is not so good.. And no, not every country in the world is using english.

  • But you do agree that english is the official language for science?

  • Of course..

  • Well.. so how can u write a scientific paper without knowing grammar????

  • I wonder how far away it is?

  • 1400 light years

  • Thanx! lol

  • just so beautiful. it also looks like a crooked finger but horsehead sounds a lot better.

  • yay! <3

  • Thank you for uploading this. It´s one of my favourite nebulas, too.

I actually painted it a few months ago.

  • looks like an elephant's head facing right with ears extended, not a horse.

  • it looks like gas and dust ;)

  • more like a black seahorse! haha

  • hahahah...

  • great 5*****

  • one of the coolest neb's out there. its a beauty to see on google sky too. :-)

  • wicked awsome!! 5/5

  • I understand why this is called that Horsehead nebula... I just don't know why the Crab Nebula is called the "Crab" Nebula >_> I doesn't look like no crab! D:

  • It is major difference between how it looks on photos and by the eye through telescope. Because human "night vision" have other spectral sensitivity (almost blind to red color) and sensitivity level.

Personally i didn't see any "crab" in M1 even with 12" scope. But may be someone did it with larger aperture or/and darker sky... Or just has more lively imagination :)

  • i looked at it on a dark winter night on my CPC 1100. i saw the body (oblong shell) of a crab's body. but no legs or pinchers! haha but yeah i agree with you Buk. some people see clouds in the sky differently

  • peoples eye is to weak to see colors trought the telescope even if you had an 25".... but you can se more with special filters UHC-S, O III, H-alpha etc...

  • someone years ago named it liek this .....logic..

  • класс..))
