I think priest/priestess of almost all Pagan religion didn't eat meat, or if they did, they ate very little. This was because they were supposed to be "connected with all life" or something like that.

Probably the reason that they can keep from eating meat now (which was not available back when this religion was big) is because we have other sources of nutrients and vitamins that we need to survive.

Vikings were originally traders, not pirates. The raiding didn't start until christianity spread and closed down all possibility of trading (christians didn't want to trade with non-christians).

The people who were trading, or rather the inhabitants in the scandinavian countries, were called "norsemen", people from the north, If you understand;) greatings from noreg(Norway)

Ah, but before viking became synonymous with pirate it meant trader. Etymologically it basically means someone from a vik/fjord, alternately it could come from the old english wic meaning village. Over time (once more and more avenues for peaceful trade were being shut down by the mainland christianization) viking came to mean pirate or raider exclusively. Norsemen was more of a blanket term refering to both vikings and those who never went raiding.

Wanting to be a viking (for whatever reason) does not make you a viking. It doesn't give you a special connection to vikings or provide you with knowledge about their way of living.

Once something hasn't been practiced for hundreds of years, and most knowledge about it has been lost, you can't just revive it, just because you want to. You'll create something which is completely different, new, unique and ... well ... retarded.
