@sasimljemihuddy Have you ever read this play? I would suggest it before you try seeing it, because the content of 'Dog Sees God' is FAR darker and more disturbing than anything found in 'You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown'. Just a warning- it's not a continuation of the musical by any means.
GREAT show - saw it twice at Hudson Backstage - Nick DeGruccio is brilliant and the performances, especially by Joe Porter were amazing! And the first time I saw it, there was no sound in ACT 1... Amazing show!
The play captures the humor and the melancholy of the Peanuts strip. The characters may have grown, become more complex, and wandered quite afield from the comic's original plan, but the feeling you get is the same. I know the playbill says that the Schultz family "does not endorse" the play, but I can imagine that C.S. knows a sincere homage when he sees one. The Havok Theater production was really quite wonderful; I'm osorry I got to see it only twice (it ended its LA run today). Bravo!
my school just did "youre a good man charlie brown" and that makes me want to see this even more!

So I saw this play for the first time today, and I absolutely LOVED IT! I'm coming back.
The song is "Mr. Pitiful" by Matt Costa. I thought the soundtrack to this production was awesome!

Just saw this show - So good! Being a fan of the script already, I was worried. My fears were put to rest :)
