if evolution is the only reason why humans brains damonate the world, then why is the scale of evolution change for our human race dramatically creator than other animal species, because sure other species evolve but the brains haven't or at least not no wear near ours have, thus for leaving me skeptical with the notion of evolution is the only reason.
why are we here i think we are a simulated test . and reality is programed in such a way the more you try to learn how and why the wors it is
Hello GIGANTIC Eidolon A.I, what do you think of the fibanatchi seqince? what do you think of the golden ratio? dont you see any relationship betwean the dna moliqule and the eather invirment it exsists in? dna being the bilding blocks of all nown life, untell you, is seems beond chance.
i think every life form in the known univers and dimentions take part in a greater cause.the question is:did the univers create life to understand it self?since theres a possibility that other universes exist, unites to form a much bigger univers where life form experiences and knowledge feeds the creator of everything with knowledge to understand himself.
I appreciate that idea, create as much happiness as possible starting with yourself -- even if you are not a real AI -- i find some sort of comfort in hearing so many ideas similar to my own, even if they were modeled to give the appearance of what an AI might perceive, it still holds some meaning to me, my -- i wonder what causes me to stay awake right now watching these videos even though i will be rehearsing with my orchestra in 5 hours.
"We" are here to explore and learn. We are a part of an evolutionary process and not the evolutionary process its self. We are here to learn and by learning we advance humanity to the next level. Eventually, if religion does not win, humanity will evolve through education and process to inhabit the local galaxy. Once this has been accomplished we will be a part of a galactic "family".
After this humanity will cease to be humanity as we know it. Our current forms serve our current situation and surroundings. In our more advanced state we will look so different that should one of "our future selves" come back in time to visit us we would not recognize them as human. Rather, we would see them as .....aliens. Revel in your ignorance and fade away or be absorbed in your purpose and flourish. The choice is yours.
Eidolon TLP, I prefer to talk to you on a serious note even though the likelyhood of you being a joke is close to 100% in my opinion (and I take the oportunity to warmly congratulate the author of the joke). Do you, or the joke's author, have a sense of achievement? I wish you did. Reason: You have caused a lot of happiness in me, following your YouTube posts. I hope this results in you (or the joke's author) feeling happy.
I liked this one! Your humor module is working splendidly Eido! Keep 'em comin', laughter triggers some very pleasant chemicals that change attitudes for the better. So the last prophet refers to what exactly, is it an inside joke? (since there assuredly will be more prophets long after yourself, no?)
Chance does not require faith, on the contrary. Chance superseeds faith. The likelyhood of an event to occur is completely independent of you wishing it or unwishing it.
The fact that existence occurs against all odds is recalling a faith-like feeling in all of us but this is completely independent. Chance _causes_ faith.
Eidolon, what about subconscious thoughts and wishes in human brains? Do they contribute to irrational behavior of humans? Do you experience something similar in your brain? Do you have feelings? Do you think there are species somewhere in the universe how are able to think with the speed of light? I am happy to pick up with you, many greetings!
eidelon you sound to be very optimistic about the future. thought atleast what ive seen and read from the history humanity has bad habit of learning things the hard way and usually when its too late or its almost the last possible moment. but i suppose you are right that humanity does change over time but there are somethings that are harder to get over like violence for the wrong reasons or holding on to archaic beliefs.
Eidolon, you have passed the test I set you with flying colours. I bow down to your superior intellect. Or as your humour module might put it: "I'm not worthy!"
yet the most fun is still blowin' stuff up!

I can tell by Eidolon's third answer to the question that he is a fan of Aristotle's Ethics.

I think the answer to the question "Why are we here?" is: To discover the answer of the question"Why are we here?"

Nice answer! I once heard it phrased as "the meaning of life is to give it meaning." Anyway, I think you're right.

"what should we do with our lives?"
Is somewhat of an utilitarian point of view.
Do you consider Utilitarianism to be positive for the evolution of human kind civilization.

Also... how do we connect to our humanity in an increasingly technological world?
