Switzerland does not want Germany to take over and send trains through the Swiss alps because the Swiss people just want to live a normal, peaceful economic life without being interupted by surrounding countries during their conflict.

For all of you who ignore historical facts: Switzerland was condamned to pay three times (1946,1949 and during the 1990's if I'm not wrong) to Jewish and American associations concerning the gold of WWII. For all of you who ignore historical facts: Switzerland was condamned to pay three times (1946,1949 and during the 1990's if I'm not wrong) to Jewish and American associations concerning the gold of WWII. I personnaly think that is too much to put Adolf Hitler in this context, because 1) Switzerland has payed for his business with the Nazi Germany, and 2) some allied pilots were quite happy to crash into Switzerland during the war, as we weren't ALL nazis and moreover still independant.
