@biitersweettt Don't mess with DNA? What do you call the change from teosinte to corn? Wheat & tangerines were made by humans too. Is broccoli natural? Nope. There are buildings older than broccoli. What about commonly used techniques like mutation selection, tree sports, wide crosses, embryo rescue, chemical / radiation mutagenesis, somatic variation, tissue culture, grafting, polyploidy & colchicine treatment? Everything we eat had their DNA 'messed with'. Something to think about.

@Zhavlon There's a very big difference between crossing strains to get really good vegetables and fruit, and the insane laboritory altering of DNA. The proof is in the product - natural foods are chocker with nutrients that GMOs lack

@1eyednewt Gosh, how can that be true?Mind going into the molecular, genetic, and biochemical details of how that happens? Please, be extremely specific about mode of action of the causative agents that causes all GE food to be harmful, the biochemical pathways that produce them, and the genetic reason why only biotech modifications do this. It shouldn't be too hard to explain this to me since you guys clearly know more than all those thousands of scientists (lol science) who support GMOs

This could also be what's killing the honey bees. We don't know yet what effect GMOs will have on the world. Maybe worldwide famine. It will be hard to put this genie back in the bottle. When you own the gov't. like Monsanto does you can do what you want. This has to change! Glad to see Texas is doing something to begin that change!

The right to know is okey, but more importantly is to stop the corporate takeover of the naturally occurring genetic material found on our planet. The UN is helping these multinational corporations legally corner the biodiversity that exists on our planet.
