  • Great job by you!!

  • I remember hearing this when I was a child. It was part of my dad's 45 collection. I liked the beat to it but alas it got mixed up in his massive collection (no thanks to me constantly rummaging through it)

  • Down memory lane! How nice to have it back on YT!!! My salute to Mezkr for posting it...

  • `when did he die?

  • @carlosblundar Larry Finnegan was born October 10, 1938 and passed away on July 22, 1973. He was 34.

  • Thank you for posting this- my dad had this very 45rpm and I used to listen to music with him all the time. He meant the world to me, and he's gone now, so hearing this brings back many wonderful memories. Thanks again!

  • Larry did a lot of nice music i Swedish, quite different from his country-inspired tunes in English. However, one song in Swedish and one in English stand out - "Maria min vän" and "Dear One", respectively. He definitely passed away too soon, he had a lot more to give!

  • I have to correct one info ,Larry was 34 year when he past away and that was of course too early ,but we have his records so we can listen to his good songs,I worked with him in the recordstudio and he was a really nice and hard workin man,Bless him!!!

  • mezskr4 once again many thks for your very quick response

I am sorry if i did not make myself very clear the rest of my

message is about another good artist who had pressed out

a record titled "I Saw Linda Late Last Night" by Gerry Gathrie

I am sorry as I am not quite sure of his name being spelt correctly

anyway if I do get more information regarding this 45 rpm,(its number,& label on

which it was pressed out) from our radio station I will revert. Once again thank you.
