  • @roeroe305 For the internet driver, you have to follow my video and burn the windows support disc into a cd/dvd. And for the option key, when you press and hold on the option key while starting up your Mac, there should be a Boot Sequence comes out for you to choose which hard disk you want to boot.

  • @SneakySonBeach You start up in mac osx, go to "disk utility". In the sidebar, select the top most hard drive. Find the "Partition" section in the menu that comes up. Select the partition you want to delete by highlighting it. Then press the small "minus" sign underneath the partitioned disks. Then, just follow the guide. After the partition has been deleted, drag the "Macintosh HD" to it's fill extent and hit "Apply". That's it.

  • @UrTech1 ok!! Thanks for your support:)

  • i opened bootcamp, and it let me download the thing... but i never got a thing like at 5:37, it would just say finished

  • Even if you are using your own windows 7 legit dvd you must download windows support software first because it is bootcamp 4 that had all drivers for all windows 7 versions...after installation of windows 7 just open and run that boot camp 4 and it will install all drivers itself....

  • i am not getting the screen at 5:37

  • I have an iMac 27inch and when I try to get the windows drivers from bootcamp it won't let me. Does anyone else have this problem? Also I don't have the cd that came with my Mac to install the osx

  • I don't understand how people install 1 copy on multiple computers....for me when i used the same key ...it gave me error " key is already in use" even i had 2 legit copies of windows 7 Home Basic. thats why i picked that illegal way and it worked.

  • Excellent! i had 2 legit copies of windows 7 home, came with my dell 1545 and 1318. I was unable to install them on any other computer ( it ask you for key to activate). what do i do?

  • @joepowah i had the same problem but i manged to get it to workmake sure you do exaclty what he does it took me 2 tries to get it

  • why not 64 bit?

  • @UrTech1 How do you restore it into an external hard drive? Sorry, never done this before. :/

  • i have a legit windows copy, but in lion, they require you to use an illegal copy because you need the .iso file on a usb flash drive.... i really dont understand this... i used my legit copy on all of my macs, but with the new lion computers i cant... so i guess u have to do it the illegal way even when you have a legal copy........

  • @ritajay59 no, not really. You don't need the .iso file and restore it into the usb drive. You can create a bootcamp first, and then insert the windows legit dvd to install the system.

  • @ritajay59 Nah it is supposed to be downloaded of A legal server selling OS ISO files probably Microsoft.

  • cool reverb bro.

  • Okay, ive tried and tried and tried, ut still have the same problem. After burning the Windows ISO to a 4.7GB DVD-R, i put it back into my mac to check it works, and it will not load it, just spits it straight back out. Im really unsure as to what the problem is, if anyone can help at all, it would be awesome!

  • and if you have windows installed can you use mac osx back,, like choosing the OS you wanna use? and does pc or windows games work when you use windows on the mac like using old apps on my old windows 7 pc to you mac,, pls reply, thanks

  • @gadgetgeek1000 Yes, Of course :) you can install a boot loader or easily switch back from Windows to Mac. Hold the option key while booting up!

  • @UrTech1 Whats this "option" key,

  • @AHM3Dproductions The "Option" key is located between "Command" and "Control".

  • @AHM3Dproductions its alt

  • what do you mean by the 4.7 GB DVD? a rewritable DVD to burn the ISO file right?

  • Do we need a USB Mouse?

  • thank you so much man, it worked perfectly. i would be more clear on the usages of the dvd roms, but i figured it out after a bit.

if anybody is unsure like i was, use the first dvd to burn the windows iso file, use the second dvd to burn the support software, put the first dvd back in to utilize bootcamp, once windows is started up, use the second dvd again and run that. you should be set.

    again, thanks a lot

  • Why is it necessary to format the BOOTCAMP partition to NTFS?

  • @QueVivaLaChangua I think it is because that is what windows runs on. When I bought an external hardrive once i had to partition it into windows and mac segments, then install an NTFS driver onto my mac so i could read and write to it. .

  • @QueVivaLaChangua Because Windows uses NTFS partion

  • I am wondering if you could find a link for a 64-bit version. I would really appreciate it.

  • I managed to get the windows 7 on a 4.7 gb dvd but im trying to burn the support software, but it dooesent work to burn on my new 4.7 gb dvd

  • can i use a real/original windows copy (dvd)

  • @robilav of course. :)

  • @robilav lol thats like asking,

"can i play a game i payed for the same as the one you pirated?" or

"is it ok if don't cheat?"

  • 6:39 "key-bore are impoo-meffet"

  • THANK YOU A LOT!

  • do u have lion?

  • @jackafa92 Yes, I do.

  • @UrTech1 so this tutorial is with lion?

  • when asked to download the windows support software, bootcamp says there is no software available. where can I find this ?

  • Also, do I need a copy of windows 7 for this? If so, what is the use of the windows 7 ultimate?

  • @xenoquatz so you can burn it using a blanc cd

  • erm... I'm a little bit confused... so you download Windows 7 ultimate from the link, burn it into a DVD, insert DVD to check its contents then eject it, open Bootcamp assistant, follow the instructions, insert another DVD to burn the support files, do the partitioning, let the computer reboot then do windows 7 installation...

So then, what is the use of the two DVDs we used? At which point am I supposed to put it in?

  • epic accent :)

  • ok after partitioning i get this error "CDBOOT: Cannot boot from CD -Code: 5" i couldnt get out of this.. i couldnt even eject the dvd. help.. i tried to restart it a bunch of times... but i get the same error ... how to boot back to mac os?

  • It says "the disk cannot be partitioned because some files cannot be moved." Do you know what this means? Thanks!

  • @applnasdaq i had this problem it occurd because my power died whilst making a partition so it is is probalbly something to do with already having a partition but anyway the way to fix is to insert mac osx disk which came with laptop or desctop and boot up holding c

  • cool,thx for the video.

  • can i still use this torrent?

  • dot. dot. dot. dot.

  • Can i do this with my mac my macs type is
