What a fun episode! Though it must have been a bit awkward for Vinnie & his then-wife Mary. Vinnie married his 3rd wife (British actress Coral Browne) the same year this episode was taped. Being a true gentleman & consumate pro, I'm not suprised he & Mary put on a happy face for the cameras & their surrounding friends. Thank again for posting this delightful episode!!!
My partner's mother was visited by Vincent Price in high school in the 1950s when he was traveling promoting art education. I'm so jealous. She said he was a very nice man, which is obvious from every interview....and even every scary movie if you watch closely.
@dougiewhite778 In his daughter's book about her father, there is reference to him being sombre after the completion of 'The Abominable Dr. Phibes' in late 1970, as he was going home to spend Christmas with his then wife.
He took Coral Browne out to do dinner for her birthday whilst filming 'Theatre of Blood' (arranged by their co-star Diana Rigg) so we are looking at July 1972.
Price married Coral in October 1974, not long after the divorce came through.
This is a rare gem indeed but having watching the UK version of This Is Your Life - which is structured more biographically - this is too bitty and a great opportunity is lost.
Made in late 1972 but first shown in March 1973, Price divorced from Mary Grant around this time and ended up marrying his co-star from Theatre of Blood, Coral Browne, in October 1974.
