He can bring other ninja from the dead to fight for him. He can summon a snake far larger than Jizo. He also is resistant to most types of poison and his Hydra technique is even greater than that. In addition Mayuri is facing an opponent beyond his basic scientific knowledge. Kurotsutchi is definetly a good fighter but he is much better at science. Orochimaru is far more geared towards combat.

Not to mention how he killed that espada with special poison that made everything super slow to the victim. Also Orochimaru isn't a true immortal only in the respect of life span but he has to keep changing bodies to do that.

You forget Mayuri is a Genius and one of the most underestimated Captains, if you actually payed any attention to him you would find out that he has done multiple experiments to his body and even when that one espada crushed his insides it did nothing and the poison from Jizo can only be cured by him and can use jizo's shikai to liquify anything.

iOrrchimaru took on 4 tails while in his weakened state and once fighting on eqaul footing with two powerful sanin which eaisly drwafs Mayuri's Bankai release or most captains in genreal.only the likes of Uitake,Shunshi or Unohana can fight on par with the Sanin.

Kabuto alone kicks Mayuri's ass consdering he was able to defeat a sanin by cutting off her strentgh and he is strong enough to rivial Kakakshi.Orcchumaru will rapestomp Mayuri in seconds.

@iMrballer also Orrchimaru was at 20% of his base power and easily toying around with naruto most of the battle,he could of killed naruto at any point of that entire fight yet he didn't for it woudln't be benefitcal to his plan to eradcite the atasukis.basically Orrchimaru in that fight was basically wearing a limter on his power and yet still stronger than 4 tails and he's the weakest of the Sanin's in physical strentgh and chakra.

@iMrballer also this is not counting orrchicmaru true power the eight branches which gives him 10 times more power than base form.if he was between 20% to 40% power fighting naruto in just base form,he would desotry four tails in his true form.4 tails was more or less the power of Vizard Ichigo,Grimmjow released and Kenpachi,alll far stronger than Mayuri who is the weakest captain in the Gotei 13,only Uitake,Unohana and Shunshi could fight eqaully with Orrchimaru.

@solidvipersnake actually chakra is half spirit energy so yes they would be able to see them also the speed is pretty much equal while in Bleach there is shunpo, and sonido Naruto characters have body flicker, not to mention what they lose in physical strength they make up for in tactics and trap manuevering also alot of Naruto characters are physically strong like Naruto in sage mode he stopped a 100 meter charging rhino with his bare hands and threw it thousands of feet in the air
