  • Something about these guys I don't quite trust. Rorion and Kids are very market savvy, kinda like the Informercial King Tony Robbins. Gracie Combatives/University/Bully Proof.Women Empowered etc. My feeling is just teach Jiu-Jitsu instead of Take combatives x number of times online and earn a Blue Belt and a gumball! What did the do in the old days in Torrance, what was the curriculum like then...

  • Great lessons, very well explained and your attention to detail is almost perfect. Thanks very much for the lesson!

  • :)

  • Ladies and gentlemen, I've seen many, many instructional BJJ videos over the last 15 years or so.....and NOTHING holds a candle to what Ryron and Rener have accomplished with Gracie Combatives. I don't think I've seen anything that comes so close to having an actual GJJ private lesson with a skilled black belt.

  • @Eastbay007 I agree this should be everyones first port of call, when it comes to BJJ/MMA or just self defence.

  • @Eastbay007 What kind of details do they get into for the bodylock takedown? I've seen the rest of the set. (thanks in advance)

  • thank you to all the gracies

  • You guys who want to learn Gracie Jiu Jitsu but cant afford it yet should buy the Gracie Combatives DVD set.

You can become a legit Blue belt at the end of it, then Rener & Ryron will send you your belt and certificate!

You can find the Combatives DVD on their website, gracieuniversity.

    I highly recommend it guys.

    Its GREAT stuff.

  • @WingusC, gay, kidding, he's a really funny guy haha

  • You guys teach with more love than your father. I like you best.

  • I'm not gay or anything, but i have a bit of a man crush on Rener.

  • I'm starting bjj tafter this semester of college, Can't wait son.

  • you guys give me a boner happy 4/20

  • @themancaneatme801 I can't afford lessons either. There's a Gracie Jiu-Jutsu dojo in San Francisco that I really want to join but I can't afford it either.

  • @MikkoTV Try finding a Gracie Garage in your area. You can roll with other students. Real cheap and earn your blue belt.

  • @MikkoTV are you referring to the Ralph Gracie school, run by Kurt Osiander, Carley Gracie's school, or Charles Gracie's school? I trained with Kurt when he was a blue-purple belt, and he was/is very good. Never trained at Carley's in S.F., but met him a couple of times, and never trained with Charles. There is also the Ceasar Gracie school out in Plesant Hill as well. Best of luck and you'll LOVE it! :-)
