Christians are not saved because we try to impress God with good deeds. Good deeds will impressed God once a person becomes a child of God. Meaning of child of God is the person found salvation in Jesus Christ. Without Jesus Christ. You are nothing to God. Whatever good deeds you do. At the temple, they sacrifice animal every year. But God Himself has better gift. His Son who will die once as sacrifice but will never to be repeated every year.
