I assume you meant "pogues" instead of the children's game. Since you seem to prefer to spew obscenities, it seems pointless to mention that no one has asked for people to "feel bad/support" anything with this video. And since you obviously have no personal knowledge of the Gunrunners or their combat record we'll just leave it at that.

you wear whatever ribbons and medals you've earned. if a marine only has ribbons on his dress blues, then that just means that they haven't earned any medals yet. there's medals and ribbons for all different hings, like the combat action medal, etc.

Ok lol, If you earn medals you don't have to wear them I only wear mine in ribbon form. Some of us just don't like wearing the medals. and the combat action ribbon is only a ribbon. Do remember that all medals are also ribbons just not all ribbons are medals. does that help?

...I like this film. It shows the military traditions and ceremony. I'm from Germany. Unfortunately in the Bundeswehr we do not have such rich tradition as are usuall in the U.S. armed forces...
And I have a question too: why do some soldiers wearing on their bluedress their full size medals and other soldiers only their ribbons, what makes the difference? please answer me someone. thx.

There are many Marine Corps balls in NC if one for some reason doesn't go on you can always find anouther one
