Jack McCoy is the best prosecutors ever on TV, love the fact that he cares about justice and he is not political. A man for the people and cares about justice. Jack McCoy is one of the greatest characters on the original "Law & Order" series next to Lennie Briscoe, Mike Logan, Adam Schiff, and Lt. Anita Van Buren, I also liked Donald Kragen who is now on "Law & Order: SVU".

@jeffman52001 If you have seaseon 1 of Law & ORder and season 1 of SVU, then you have Cragen at the start of the decade and Cragen towards the end of the decade :) It sux that NBC made wolf fire Florek and Brooks and hire more women. DId u like Mike better on the original or on Criminal Intent. To be honest, i got into CI which led me to the early years.
