  • You have to learn as much about triads as you can. They're important in country, swing, bebop, fusion....

  • Love it ! Its just perfect

  • Nice, Man...Thanks!

6th chords - so fat! A million years ago I heard Cream, live - those 6th chords on "Politician' (down from the V Chord to the IV)? - What a big, "downtown" sound, with just 3 guys playing to 10,000 people.

  • awsome lick!!

  • Great Job!! :)

  • Clear explanations, clear video shots. Nicely done!

  • Love that lick ... it's got that old-time, genuine country sound. Great stuff.

  • This guy knows his chops! If anything it gives inspiration to try new material or remember what I already know that I already forgot lol!!!

  • There's a similar lick in Satch Boogie. I never knew what chords it was outlining till now - thanks, chief.

  • this guy teaches at my high school (Saint John Vianney)

  • @knitemare68 Hey my High School is named "Saint- Jean- Vianney" !!!(the same thing but in french)

  • Great lick! Thanks, keep 'em comin'!

  • shows u nothing

  • @WellHeyJude and @tobiaspp90

It shows you everything. The trick is to listen as well. He clearly states that he's using two chords: D6 and D9. If you look you can see that they share the same shapes. If you don't get this you need to get yourself a book of basic chord shapes. And learn to listen.

  • why can't you show first how every chord is going to be played?

  • is very good lesson ! thanks !

    vini BRAZIL
