Ezekial 18:14-18 clears up what he just said about women having children out of wedlock or children who are born to sinners. I do not know his background but what if his mom was a sinner and had him? does that mean he goes to hell too and he should just give it all up because it is too late? no. so why tell people that knowing that there is a way to be saved and yes children cannot vouch for themselves but when they realize they are doing wrong parents should start teaching them.

It makes no sense when someone preaches hell by using the word "sheol". Sheol has nothing to do with fire.

It makes just as much sense (none at all) when someone preaches hell and sheol isn't even mentioned.

Hades, being the Greek equivalent to sheol, simply means "the grave" just like sheol. Gehenna is a physical place outside of Jerusalem where the Jews used to burn their trash. It is not a fiery, bottomless pit either.

Nenski, don't worry about hell. The Bible never uses the word.

I was talking about sheol for this very reason. This ridiculous translation problem that comes from translating 3 Greek words and one Hebrew word ALL as "hell" causes people to place God FAR outside of His nature.

The confusion is obvious. Mark 9 is talking about a literal trash dump where the Jews burned their garbage, and it uses the fire of that place, Gehenna, figuratively to men the taking out of one's trash. c.f. I Cor. 3. It is not them who are burned up, it is their works.

Aion always expresses its meaning through periods of time. Aions have beginnings and ends. Just because a certain verse speaks of God's glory or righteousness remaining for one age/eon does not mean it will not remain through the next. Taking the Bible as a whole, we know that God's righteousness will remain for longer than the one age that was addressed. Likewise, taking the Bible as a whole, we know that God will NOT burn anyone alive without end. Your argument relies on out of context verses.

Amen. Since we know that even Sodom will be returned to their former estate, (Ezekiel 16:55) we know that the "eternal fire" in Jude 1:7 was only age-abiding. This is just another example of the actual definition of "aionios" disagreeing with the sensationalism that organized religion has made so much money from for thousands of years and continues to as we can see in these videos.

The "results are eternal" thing isn't accurate. See Ezekiel 16:55. Sodom will be returned to its former estate.

@NenskiTrill. thank you Jesus you are saved, it was not in vain. The Almighty does not condemn a baby to hell automatically just bcuz of how that child was conceived. The Almighty is only interested in whether or not that child will believe in His Son as the child grows older. The Almighty will not hold a child responsible for the way he or she was conceived. My older son was born out of wedlock, and he is atheist, but I am praying for him everyday that he will turn to Jesus.
