I honestly dont think any of the titles he made music for would have the same status they do today without his music. He not only pushed the bar for video game music, but he has inspired many, including me, to play the piano. I remember him saying in one of his interviews, he would first play the part of a game throughly, get the feel of it, and then make the music for how he sees it. This is why his music can make just about any game a great one. Koji will go down in history as a musical genius

I feel so relaxed now, thank you. That is truly one of Kondo's greatest works. I didn't quite appreciate this song when I was younger(I guess it was too slow and I had a short attention span), but now I realize the beauty in it. Like gillygilly250 with this song, I used to go to Gerudo Valley in Zelda just to listen to that theme.

Ahh..! The always inspirational VI-VII-I progression! Koji Kondo is a genius! 5-stars! Just an advice: when you hit that high G actually you must also hit at the same the D 3 notes lower thus a fourth is formed; this is how it is heard in the game. Also try adding some chorus effect.
