scripting and using the visual interface in construct or a visual interface in general is very similar. The difference is that with scripting you explain the instruction in text while in the visual interface you explain it with button clicks and setting properties. If you try to get your hands dirty and get into scripting you will soon realize that and also realize all additional power you have over the visual interface.
@nattsurfaren Nope. Not a single error message. When I open CAP file, the Construct is just still blank, just as he was when first started the program.
@nattsurfaren Nope, no error messages. When I start Construct, the screen is naturally, blank. I open the CAP file that was working just fine, and the Construct stays blank. LOL! I don't know what is it.
I think the file got corrupted. I don't understand why they don't implement an alternative save method to a non binary format like xml. Then it would be much easier to see what the problem is and you can repair the file.
Ask around in the forum but I'm afraid you work is lost unless you have an older backup/copy of the file.
Thanks for your comment. I hope you find a job in the game industry. When I was younger I was dreaming about having a job as a game developer. I would guess that if you want to find a job you need to bee really good in a specific category so that a company want to hire you.
It's based on it. The author also developed extensions for it (or MMF1) years ago. In most aspects, this program outperforms MMF though. I haven't used it a lot yet, but it'll be quite a hazard for MMF in the near future.
So you completely assumed assumed i don't commentate on any of my videos just by watching ten seconds of one. I'm providing constructive criticism for this guy so he can improve whatever other video tutorials he makes.
Zorlok I thinkCriticism is very important. Nothing is worse than everybody saying how good you are. Then you get the feeling they don't care or that they only take without giving something in return.
I also know about all the haters which I think most of them are people that want to get views or maybe robots made by evil marketers. Both of you had good intentions so there is actually nothing to fight over just a misunderstanding.
Every time I save my project, the next time i start construct, everything is gone. I have newest version.

I changed the height and width of the layout and it wont scroll across the map.
I also changed the application size.
What did I do wrong?
