I love the way coach Pete makes Illinois up to be a challenging team when in reallity they where nothing.

you have to hold your opponents to high esteem, otherwise you'll lose the game.
it was good that pete saw Illinois as a challenge because it helped prepare the team well, and they won BIG.

I think USC would have won either way, but Illinois played really poorly.
