I find it really funny how everyone believes that WoW had everything first. If you remember Diablo came way before WoW and Diablo had talent trees. I am sure there is a game that came before Diablo that had a talent tree but i cant think of it. Another thing wow wasn't the first one to use the colored names to indicate rarity. So all in all WoW wasn't the first for everything.

I noticed that this game draws a lot of things from WoW. Talent tree, quest menu, similar xp bar, and also the way that the items are colour coded, with purple being the rarest.

You might already know this, but Diablo and WoW are made by the same company. True WoW does have some of the same stuff as Diablo, but its not that big of a deal, seeing as they were made by the same people.

OTG, the colors only show how rare it is, not how good it is.

I've had a better white gun than a purple one at one point.

Thing about weapon proficiency is you only need to hold to gun to lvl up in it, you don't even necessarily have to kill with the gun either. Like if someone else kills a baddie your gun will still go up. An easy way to prove this is if you Plvl someone you do all the work and you'll see their gun prof still goes up in level.

You got to remember that, when you kill something with one weapon that gets the Proficiency upgrade. Like how I did with Snipers was ware down the guys with Revolvers and finish them off with sinpers. Made my sniping so much better.

Yeah, the proficiency only goes up when you kill an enemy. Later in the game, I sometimes thought for a few seconds on which type of weapon I wanted to kill a boss with :D
