You know, for a blast that is as strong as 200 Megaton bomb, and able to detonate every single Tiberium Field in it's radius, This wasn't really too big explosion. It just blew the Balkans and Italy (Yeah, Die for all that TV crap you have created in the 2000s) - I expected the whole Europe and North Africa got annihilated.

@Wykletypl Well, it was few years ago, and it sounds kinda strange. SInce it detonated each and every tiberium field, and I believe the process would be the same as with atomic bomb - the more % of the fissible material will react, the stronger the explosion will be, and the lesser radioactive fallout will be (since the main long-term lasting radiation comes from the "non-fissioned" nuclear material).

But yeah, if detonation was very "dirty", with large amounts of tiberium not fissioned...

@SlyNicolai actualy, yes, they do have lasers already. but its not like the short blast and destroy everything kind of laser, it just superheats the target to a point that its gas/kerosene/deisel tank explodes, or in the case of anti missile, it just detonates the payload

an ion cannon is actualy not verry far away from invention, just another 30-40 years or so. An ion cannon is simply a laser on super steroids, it acuratly fires a fuckton of ion'ized radiation (hence the name.)

But, there is one big mistake c&c made with the looks of the ion beam: it wouldnt be blue. Because of the massive amounts of ionized radiation, it would be a greenish color. In theory, however, a beam of concentrated photon particles WOULD be blue.
