  • when the japanese have fevers how high is it before they like cant go to school and work?

  • ___ no koto nan desu ga....

Thanks! Will remember this! I'll bet it will come in handy!

  • is it desu ga ? i learnt desu ka !

  • great lesson, I'll try to remember the なになに

    のことなんですが

    沢山漢字勉強しました、八百位の意味知ります、けどまだ少しが読みます。

  • DC's got it, You've got it, I never realized Pulp Fiction had such a huge fan base in Japan.

It's definitely my #1 favorite movie [Next to Kill Bill]

  • Its kinda annoying when you have the music on while you're speaking..

  • what is the difference between shimashita and just plain shita?...please answer somehow.cuz i don't know....( and i 5 star you :)(hopeful smile))

  • "Shimashita" and "shita" are both past-tense forms of "suru", the verb that means "do". "Shimashita", however, uses the polite "-masu" form/conjugation, and "shita" is just the plain, past version. Use the -masu form with people you're not super close to and where politeness is important ^_^.

  • Nice

     pulp fiction!!!!

  • baka wa kaze wo hikonai [I think I got that right]

  • I am quite sure it should be "baka GA kaze wo hiKUnai"

  • lol. shows what american manga magazines teach you, huh?

  • Thanks Victor!! I will try and use なかなか〜ない。^_^

    ところで、2人の日本人の友達にマギー先生のサイトを勧めました。^_^ すごいサイトですよ。マギー先生はコメントあまり貰わなくても、是非レッソンを書いて続いてください。☆

  • Speaking of なかなか.....What about this !Victor の日本語はなかなかですよ!Good one , right ?!

  • Speaking of Kanji, I'm doing an Internet knitting swap where we were assigned a alphabet letter for the theme of the package. Mine was K, so anything I want to send but doesn't start with K I'm going to write the word in kanji to make it fit. And thanks too the program Victor recommended, Rikaichan, its super easy to find the kanji for words. Yay Victor.

  • So the usage of なかなか is similar to ~たって?

    Ex: 漢字をいっぱい勉強したって、覚えられない。

  • Yet another interesting lesson.. Thanks for posting. Hope you feel better Victor-sensei.

    Oh and Happy Birthday too..

  • Didn't know that the same word for wind was alos for a cold. Of course you do put a different inflection on each word. Starting to learn Japanese this winter and I am just learning the alaphabet right now. I know Hiragana but still learning Katakana.

  • Remember the kanji is different though (even though the hiragana is the same) 風 is wind but 風邪 is a cold. :)

  • Haven't started learning Japanese quite yet but I kn ew of kaze for wind ^_^ Thanks for the info yumyumsesame

  • Happy Birthday.

  • You are still sick?! You should eat more garlic. Your colds won't last that long if you have garlic every day.

    And happy birthday.

  • Nor will you have any friends. Of course when you have a cold you want to stay away from people anyway.

  • Or one could take garlic pills.

  • Yes of course. But that suggestion would not make you smile. I'm just trying to have some fun at Victors expense. If he knew me better, I don't think he would hesitate to do the same.

  • Oklie doklie.

  • hapbi bass dai

  • I think you can buy Codeine products over the court in Japan.

Buy some Vitamin C and codeine tablets.

Codeine is a antitussive and your cold will be much lower in severity.

  • Happy b day!

  • Happy birthday, man!

    Peace

  • 誕生日おめでとうございます!

  • Can we see you actually put cigarettes in your nose?

  • According to Daichen, your Bday is today... if so

    Happy B-day!
