U actually were unfortunate enough to draw the Photoshop blah blah blah card on a Video Editor who has tryed out more than 5 editing programs through his life and on different rigs.

All serious editing programms work better on Mac's and if its just the IMac that u have a prob with then rest assured that for pro usage nothing beats the MacPro.

Only prob with that money issue u bring up is that after 2-3 years u ll be needing a new gfx card while on a Mac thats not an issue. thats the advantage of working with a closed operating system chap.

And since u got it a bit wrong i need to tell u that i have both a Pc and a Mac.For 2k euros though and if u mainly wanna work and not work and play then the Mac is in my opinion the best choice.If u wanna do it all then of course by all means get a 2k euros pc.

thats just an image but yes you can put windows on a mac. You can install it and run it using either BootCamp or Parallels Desktop.
