@muwin24 skateboarding has changed now. It didn't used to be about what trick you could do. It's was about personality/style.

Tricks shouldn't mean much. I can name many pros now that are no where near as good as todays ams but in their prime were the best.

Not one of you that is trashing on Mike has any idea what your talking about. This part may not have the best tricks in the world, but skating has nothing to do with tricks, its your style and desire to skate that makes you good. Mike has more of those two things than all of you trash talkers combined...

boring?!...you guys are trippin'..I started skating when Public Domain came out and his part in that was about the most inspirational 'street' part as you could find. When he busted out the double kick deck on World plus his part in Rubbish Heap it all just got better, plus he gave a fuck about shit besides skateboarding, vegetarianism. If you can't appreciate or understand what Mike V. brought to skateboarding you are either 17 years old or just retarded.

@TrashCanSchool Hell yes man! Mike V. is one of my greatest inspirations in skateboarding! I lost a few years to drugs and other poor life decisions but I never lost that desire to skate. He's one of those guys that reminds me of what skating is really about and that you skate for yourself and not to impress anyone around you. I'm still pushing and probably harder than ever thanks to guys like Mike V.
