Some people are so anal about where technology comes from! Who cares! It's paid for. Who invented the computer you are watching this on? Who invented paper that you write on? The point i'm making is that, technologies always going to be adopted globally. Good on the inventor, and good on the adopter. That's how the world advances, and that's how it should be.
@benwcc Oh yeah, you're right! I got confused because those two pantographs that are not up look like they are since they're not completely flat against the train's roof! :)

it accelerates quite fast even with only 2 pantagons on 16 cars!
benwcc 2 years ago
because they are EMU -_-
manwah2006 2 years ago
yea i know. I mean comparing ERL MLR, 1 pantagon for 3 cars in average, but here 1 pantagon for 8 cars, they have quite similar acceleration!
benwcc 2 years ago
@benwcc It has 4 pantographs for 16 cars! There are 2 pantographs on each 8 car set, and the train is composed of 2 of these sets.

@Tochtochtoch
you should see for each set of 8 cars, only one pantograph is up while the other one is down. that's what I mean 1 pantograph for 8 cars :-)
