  • HAHAHA, Wing Chun living in fantasy after beating up some inexperienced white belt tkd nerd. I got friends at my Muay Thai gym who have black belts in TKD and they'll slaughter any Wing Chun morons. Wing Chun = world's worst martial art ever. It has never proven any of its effectiveness whether it be on the streets, or in any full contact competitions, against experienced fighters.

  • @EdDy4RheelZ Apparently you dont know the first thing about martial arts or wing chun. So unless you do wing chun, shut up, because you dont know what your talking about. Wing chun is an amazing martial, and its much better than mma/bjj or whatever martial SPORT that you do...if you do anything. theres a good chance your some fat guy that sits at home watching mma matches on tv saying "oh, i could do that"...no...you cant do that

  • @xXPlague1996Xx Go request no rules challenge to any of the Gracies or any MMA gym and see for yourself. You clearly don't know shit about MMA. Unlike most combat sports which was created with rules to focus on specific techniques, MMA was created with no rules. Rules started getting created after people kept getting severely injured or even die to the point where it could've been prevented while determining who's a better fighter at the end.

  • @xXPlague1996Xx Recall Emin Boztepe? He was a protege and face of Wing Chun as a deadly fighter but guess what he did? He backed out of Gracie Challenge. Why? Because he's a pussy who knew that he can't compete with the Gracies. You Wing Chun idiots live in a dream world and have yet to fight against real fighters in the world.

  • the Wing chun guy was very confident in shutting down any incoming attacks... and he stuck to his stance

  • tkd guy makes funny noises

  • TKD learned a lesson that hands-up works very well. Hopefully he'll get better after this.

  • I like this. Wing chun guy is just playing with the tkd guy.

"Wing Chun Won" this is just sparring.

  • this was actually funny, btw we all know the best wing chin instructors come from hong kong

  • Ip Man, Ip Man, ip Man, Ip man! hehe!

  • fake wing chun motherfuckers must watch and learn from this video...

  • what a joke, fcking chink trying to promote their arts. Looks like shiet.

  • @MeLinhLam Your an idiot!.

  • @MeLinhLam your reply is tasteless ... just like those fcking chinky chongs in this videos. Oh yeah, i bet you love Donnie as well.

  • The Wing Chun practitioner is good.

  • The tkd guy was an amateur. I'd say mid-rank or lower. The Wing-chun guy knew he had the fight; that's why he played with him a little and stayed in a very basic ready stance. Believe me, you're not going to throw an axe kick on a guy standing straight up. You're going to stick to your flip kicks and front-legged side kicks, then get ready to come down with your fists. Tkd done right can be very formidable, but yes wc uses more body-manipulation, hence more dangerous.

  • @skyttyl That's the basic stance of Wing Chun

  • @tm2cruz That's what I said. A ready stance is basically the same in any martial art form. TKD and Karate's both have their hands to the side in their ready stances.

  • Why is the tkd trying box? Where's his distancekeeping and kicks? :S

  • The W.c person didn't use any footwork. Still in first form???

  • Go to a gym, guys. honestly, why a track?

  • Well, both were good, but you never know in a real fight everything is different...

  • @DonMega187 Functional, fundamental combat skills, applied against a real resisting opponent, is hardly devolution? Watered down point fighting arts & foul tactic, fantasy based systems fall more into that category;-p

  • dont get me wrong the tkd guy is good but he needs to have longer chains if hes going to fight a wc guy or he needs to keep his distance and back off quickly

  • The WC man rises up every time he strikes, especially when he throws a cross. He's loosing a lot of power there, the TKD guy is not use to getting punched & thrown.

If they keep this up for a few years they will eventually evolve into looking like kick boxers lol!

  • @0713mas and that would be de-evolving

  • @DonMega187 all of those same fundamental combat skills are included in wing chun + more better techniques u can do without the limitation of having boxing gloves on. hence the de-evolution. this wing chun guy has some good things going for him. u can't deny the other guy atleast trying to resist. point fighting? isn't kickboxing just that? most of the matches are won by points afterall ;) and there's weight divisions to further prove a smaller person would rarely win by using kickboxing

  • TKD has nothing on wing chun I've been taking wing chun now for 4 years I've gone to real matches and have been apart of and seen plenty of street fights and he was doing everything right and yes a lot of his joints and bones would be broke I have also taken akido and all the holds and grapples you learn I've already learned in wing chun

  • Omg, you serious? He's fighting with the goat stance you do forms with. If this were an actual street fight, the TKD would own him in seconds. Just watch the wing chun guy, he's practically asking him to kick him in the groin.

  • How can asian suck at TKD? Where is this world going?? :)

  • was this filmed with a couch?

  • wing chun guy is playing this one as a sport, if this was a real fight, at 0:24, TKDs knees would have been broken, separated and destroyed.....wing chun practitioners love to break joints specially if all the body weight is resting in one body part....well, thats what i would do.

  • GOOD SHOW!

  • omg 0:53 very good

  • Why would you wait for the tkd guy to attack..

  • @tallset2 Simple; cause Wing Chun is Defense not Offense.

  • @workingforworldpeace its both my friend

  • @pogiepnoi I dont think you understand what I'm trying to tell you. The essence of Wing Chun is defense. And every move is supposed to defend and offend at the same time. If he attacks first, the move will be offensive only.

  • @workingforworldpeace

    You know nothing.

There is no forward pressure, this is not a Hollywood movie.

In a fight you will get murdered if you wait like that.

  • @tallset2 because that is when hes too busy attacking, to defend himself...

  • good job!

  • As you can see... the wing chun guy is literally just defending himself... he's only responding to the attacks from the tkd guy

  • And thankyou guy doing TKD for not relying purely on kicks and actually throwing in a few punches. You rarely see it, at least the people I see don't do it.

  • I have to say, you're one of the first decent WC fights i've seen. The takedown was great.

  • @MrHighbyMyself you speak the truth mann,, these guys dont know what theyre talkin bout

  • 0:50 awesome!!

  • fukin SLAM!

  • The WC guy is a better fighter!

  • i practice wing chun and i hate the centered stance, its dangerous because both legs are available for a takedown attempt. the 70 30 foot positioning is much better in a real fight

  • Why every Tae kwon do v Wing Chun the TKD gets his assed handed to him, i do both materials arts, yes Wing Chun is Cleaner but if i was the TKD Fighter i would fukin kill Wing chun :L No efence but it was a shit video for comparing witch is the better Martial art.

  • @ConaaHD i do both too and i agree with you, i can smash my winghchun classmates with my tkd kicks. But its not the art its the artist that counts! Wingchun only works when you have guts and good application of the principles, which is why its so rare, long range kicking can still work on wc'ers who havent mastered this

  • i kinda think the teakwondo guy would have won if he had slowed down and used some of the patterns TKD offers and if he had used the propper blocks taught it would have been very close.

dont reply with hate messages everyone is entitled to there oppinion and thats mine

  • @Conkerg213 lol this is not not a hate message but as a second dan black belt in tkd i have to disagree! What is your reasoning? If anything i would say he didnt use his leg range to keep the wc'er at bay...notice that even in high level (actually any level) tkd fights, patterns and especially the formal karate-based blocks cannot be seen.

  • @zedsj My ass is he 2nd Degree :L

  • @zedsj maybe the tkd guy only had a few lessons and thought he was jet li or sumat, cos hes all over the place, and my reasoning is years of training in different martial arts if he had of kept his distance and slowed down and took it at a different perspective he would have been a bit more stable.

not a rant just speaking from what i know :)

  • @Conkerg213 how long have you done tkd? I have done 10 years of tkd and 2 years of wingchun. I must admit the concepts of wingchun make a lot more sense. I admit he's not the best rep of tkd, clearly the wc guy has had more experience. But your statement is not correct as tkd sacrifices stabilty for range and power, the better you get, you will be more stable, but you can never be fully stable when kicking high (the goal of tkd), even olympian athletes fall down every round.

  • @zedsj ive done 5 years of tkd and roughly 2 years of judo, ive also done about 3 months of wingchun ( only just started ) i also do bits of ninjitsu. and yes you are right with saying that tkd sacrifices stability, but i was just plainly saying if the tkd muppet had focused more and used a ALOT more punches he may have not been beaten black and blue.

  • @Conkerg213 You might be right! his legs were so short that it wasn't an advantage kicking high like he did. But there's also no guarantee that punches would have helped him, the WC guys punches were very fast and direct, he probably chose to kick (not bad kicks but not enough power behind them) because his punches would not have worked against him. i definitely agree taking it slow would have helped him

  • When people fight in the ring..they are fighting people that know how to fight...Not to mention are cautious...Most good fighters don't hold alot of energy they are quick and they move. Its hard to use ving tsun when you have gloves on and rules and on top of that the guy doesn't hold energy as much as some mugger in the streets. A mugger comes at you to try and kill you or take your money. He is constantly pressuring you therefor its easy to defend..a boxer pics at you and waits for the opening

  • this wing chun guy apparently demonstrates what he learns . notice he dun throw punches and kicks which he thinks it will not land on his opponent, thats the WC principle, on the other hand, the TKD guy, jumping here and there , wasting lots of energy, experimenting and demonstrating his kicking techniques .

  • @ChiKeeTuaLan you are very correct. in a fight of wing chun versus brazilian jujtusu, the jujutsu guy would do the same demonstrate what he learns. he would dive to the wing chun guy take him to the ground and then the wing chun guy would tapping the floor here and there. ofc he would want a rematch giving excuses like he didnt used his triangle stance to put more hips, or he didnd used one of these special anti take down wing chun skills. :)

  • @HermesDo hey i m just sharing my comments about these 2 dudes in this fight in this individual video. and i said nothin about TKD has no match against WC. and if u like to make comments about the fight scene ( which probably u imagined ) BJJ VS WC, pls do it else where thanks.

  • @ChiKeeTuaLan hey man dont take me wrong. i was just saying what would happen in a fight between wc and bjj. if both practisioners were demonstrating what they learned.

similar comment to yours only in this fight the tkd guy didnt demonstrated what he learned. the wing chun guy in the other hand did.

  • @HermesDo but honestly , i myself also think that BBJ can take down most practitioner from other martial arts, but provided the individual must be able to take some punches and kicks while waiting for an opening to bring the the opponent. once the opponent is on the ground. the battle ends.

  • @HermesDo dude it depends on where the fight it taking place..if it is a street fight wc practitioners will not hesitate to gouge/ hook/poke the throat the eyes, they will not hesitate to hit the groin or the back of the neck....if it was a sparring match or controlled fight arena or competition...yes, the bjj fighter will have the advantage...also it is not martial art vs another martial art, it is the practitioner vs another practitioner...there is not better or worse martial art

  • @MrHighbyMyself agree

  • @MrHighbyMyself first of all. you guys speak like hitting on the groin neck eyes and back of the neck can only be done by wing chun practisioners!!!

you think a bjj in street will dive on you like that? is it so hard for him to kick in the groin? or extend his arm to your eyes? or punch you in the neck? AND THEN DIVE! give me a break. dirty techniques can be used by all especially on the street. dont talk like its something difficult.

  • @HermesDo nah man I am just saying that wc is always at a disadvantage in any type of controlled fight or sparring match because it was developed to target weak areas of the body to defeat an opponent the quickest way without wasted energy and in a controlled match you cant unleash wc's full potential...as a practitioner of bjj wc and tkd I understand the advantages and disadvantages of each. what I hate about many bjj fighters is their cockiness, they swear they can beat everyone

  • @HermesDo In bjj we have many ways to take down an opponent, not just a "dive"..and most people learn a good striking martial art in addition to learning bjj(ex.muay thai/boxing)..when you go for a takedown in bjj there is still a short amount of time you are vulnerable (thats why when you go for the TD you have your hands to cover your face) and even if you execute a successful takedown there is still no guarantee that you can submit your opponent.AGAIN I SAY its not the style its the fighter

  • @MrHighbyMyself i said that in street fight a bjj guy can close this vanurable time by attacking groin neck and eyes same as wing chun does. and by the way. if its only the fighter why do we see 5 dominant styles in mma? dont start the its only a sport stuff cause its as real as it gets.

the fighter makes the difference but there are styles that have much more advantage against others. wing chun created 500 years ago and bjj 40 years ago. which is more revolutionary?

  • @HermesDo I already explained that mma and ufc are controlled fighting matches.. the 5 so called styles that dominate mma work for the rules of mma.. they are most effective in the ring, of course they have an advantage.. again outside of the ring is different and that is where other martial arts excel..(with small joint manipulation, strikes to vital areas) look at the different special forces around the world, they use martial arts such as hapkido, wc, krav maga, ect.. (next comment)

  • @HermesDo most all martial arts were initially designed for self defense and for the growth of oneself,, as much as I love mma, it has blinded people.. mma ufc pride, have taken the tradition (respect, humility ect.) out of marital arts... it is not a tool to entertain but a tool to protect ones life.. of course it fun to see people pound each other to a pulp but think about it...when you put down other martial arts and say only the "dominant" styles work you are dead wrong

  • @HermesDo I am writing too much but I hope you read it all..just try talking to an mma fighter then talk to a master who has taught different police/military forces around the world..you will see a huge difference..one uses martial arts to gain fame and to prove they are the best fighter..the other humbly teaches, so soldiers can defend themselves, their comrades and their countries.. just because something was made later doesnt mean it is better..AGAIN it's not the martial its the fighter

  • @MrHighbyMyself the year difference example was made so you can understand that bjj was made to overpower traditional martial arts like kung fu , karate and taekwondo. comparing a police instructor with an mma fighter doesnt make sense

  • @HermesDo read up on the history of bjj...it wasnt created to overpower traditional martial arts, it was actually inspired by traditional martial arts. You know that bjj was created from japanese jujitsu...but the difference is that japanese jujitsu concentrated more on takedowns and throws while the newly created brazilian jujitsu focused on ground fighting and submissions.. Overall what I am trying to say is that all martial arts have their advantages and disadvantages but none are better

  • @MrHighbyMyself i should read the history of bjj? hahah it was made from judo not jujutsu. and it was a revolutionary art compared to the traditional ones by the way it taught and many other things

  • @HermesDo your really ignorant. everyone knows very well that there is no best martial arts. I'll give you this, you have a good way of showing ignorance.

  • @HermesDo judo was created from jujitsu...

  • @MrHighbyMyself Don't bother trying to convince people. If you have skill and confidence, prove it in person. No one will ever listen on youtube. I've tried, as have many others. It never ends so long as you try to talk it out.

  • @HermesDo the whole reason I started commenting was because you were talking down at wc/other traditional arts..you should be open minded learn from all types of martial arts.. the master.vs.MMA was to support the phrase " MMA has taken the tradition (respect, humility ect.) out of marital arts..." Just to throw this out there, I am no e-fighter, I have been studying martial arts all my life and I dont appreciate people who dont respect all forms of martial arts whether it is BJJ WC or TKD...

  • The thing most people fail to see in these kind of video's is that when sparring, a taekwondoka has to hold back so he won't kick his opponent unconscious.

  • @paddotk , yes the tkd practitioner may be holding back his kicks, but what i can see is, the wing chun practitioner is holding back his punches as well. it is not hard to see that the wing chun practitioner is a better fighter.

  • @ChiKeeTuaLan I guess so.. The taekwondoka also hit some kicks. But what I meant is that there are more videos like this where people don't take such things into account ;)

  • this is the real taekwondo and wingchun sparring..im a taekwondo practitioner for years and a beginner of wing chun nowadays..the tkd player is not focused and kicks with hesitation showing off the cinematic kicks w/c will knock him off if he use it in street fights..the wingchun player is relaxed thats why he showed what he learned in this fight..he use his punches and kicks wisely..

  • Nice picture..

  • very good, nice structure

  • This is not really entirely wing chun or TKD, it seems more of a mixture of wrestling with kick boxing from what i saw mainly. Plus, it's not a good idea to brawl either.

  • @Jericho11894 Hater...Everything that man did was ving tsun..Anyone who has used ving tsun in a real situation know that it doesn't look perfect...But he maintains his structure the entire time and every movement was WING CHUN! Same with the tkd guy...Most tkd guys cross train kick boxing anyways...And wing chun has grappling as well...So please...before you hate...please have some real experience...This was a great video of a good amatuer ving tsun vs tkd...THANK YOU!

  • @kikme420 Oh no dude, Im not trying to hate, no disrespect at all. I can see the wing chun structure, and the taekwondo stucture well, but I said this dosen't look, "entirely", like wing chun or TKD. A fights a fight, "you train the way you fight, but you fight however you need to win". Im still impressed that these guys still went full throttle, but still, brawling like that is dangerous man. And yeah, I actually do have experience in both arts, my wing chun still needs some work though, lol.

  • @Jericho11894 I see where your coming from man...but there is no need to say anything negative...And actually...everything the wign chun guy did was wing chun...Everything...There is more to wing chun then most people think...They think that because we train very structured and precise that we are suppose to look like that in a fight...This is not true...You train with structure and discipline so when in a real situations your body is more suited to react in the right way...

  • @Jericho11894 Wing chun is considered a complete system...There is an answer for everything...ROund punchs and grappling are a part of wing chun...Even though u don't see them as much...So are side kicks...Wing chun itself is the system underneath the techniques...the techniques can look different according to the person...two different people of different sizes tend to fight differently... Wing chun is the strategy used or method of attack...Its a way of fighting not a fighting style.

  • @kikme420 As long as the concepts and basic theories, like the center line and placing your energy in the heels of your feet intead of the balls, then you can really do what you want....but usually when you have completed the system and understand all the angles...you realize you don't need all that extra stuff...Here is the problem though...Fighting mutally like in a ring is a whole nother mind set...So yes if you are trying to kill them you will win...but if you arent...well...you get it

  • This is not really entirely wing chun or TKD, it seems more of a mixture of wrestling with kick boxing from what i saw mainly

  • @ 0:53 nigga got dunked
