when he tucks his tail in like at the begining its insecurity you got to pull the tail out and hold it out. it helps bring their mind out of that state.
not sure how long ago this was, but all dogs need to be kept extremely quiet for 6 - 8 weeks following IVDD surgery. I hope this little cutie fully recovered.
Aww, that's so great to see he's doing so well right out of surgery. I'm glad to see that you guys opted for the surgery. There's this poem called gracie's anthem on dodger's list (website for dachshunds with disk disease). This poem helped us through when our dog wasn't walking and leaking for the 1st few months after surgery. Eventually he stopped leaking and we got his cart and we all began living a normal life again. Anyhoo, I'm happy to see that Henry is being well taken care of.Cheers

He's about 95% back to normal just over a year after this was shot, thank goodness.
