His tours sell out constantly and his new show on FX, LOUIE (he's the writer, director, editor, producer, and star in an unprecedented t.v. deal), gets rave reviews. 2nd season starts in June. He's not just some working comedian, but one of the biggest names in the comedy world. You can hate the guy, but that's a fact.

I'm no expert on the guy but as far as i know his show was cancelled on Showtime and picked up on a cable channel for a 2nd season. I wouldnt call that a successful show at this point. Many comics write for tv/movies but very successful ones are the ones who star in those tv/movies. So yes he has had success but is he very successful... nah. Is he a lagend ? lol hell no.
