  • Great video. I'm travelling across Canada soon as well. I hope my experience feels like this video does. I might need to put this song on my mp3 player.

  • You slept your way through Saskatchewan???

I suppose that's the ideal way to do it.

  • I just got back...it was beautiful!

  • Best Train video EVER! 5* and fav'd

  • by "yur home for the next 3 days" do yu meen the train or that speciic seat :S :P if yu meen that seat then how the hell do you sleep?? lol but ya, the views are spectacular, id love to take this trip some day. do yu kno approx how muh it costs?

  • If the guy is alone, it's pretty easy to sleep in those seats. They are way more comfy than they look :)

  • ya like 2 weeks after i wrote that i took the train out to montreal from toronto and we had the old cars like thos ones and i was surprised at how comfy the old seats where :P

  • The curved part of the ceiling is the fold-down bunk.

  • oh ok sweet, i was kinda thinking wow a few days on that seat :S but this makes sence. thx.

  • Oh, and to answer your three months old question. From Quebec to Vancouver, if you get your ticket at least 5 days in advance, you can get a discount, and should cost you below 1200$ (That includes the reurn too) so it's cheaper for Toronto-Vancouver

  • if you want a return for Vancouver-Toronto and are planning to return within a month, it's way better to get a Canrail pass from VIA they're $518 - $923 depending on student/adult or peak season/off-peak and are good for 12 days on the train within a month

  • Thanks for the Info. I might get that ticket if I ever go on vacations. And if time and money allows it, I will make a side trip to Churchill too! (Yeah, I may look silly, but to go everywhere VIA Rail can go has been my dream! So far, I've been from Shawinigan to La Tuque, Weymont and Casey (Northen Quebec train) and from Charny to Moncton (The ''Ocean'')

  • Illustrates the experience nicely.
