i like deathcore, but only if it has enough good riffs to make the breakdowns actually mean anything, and the breakdowns have to have some complexity, i hate those slow passed droning breakdowns like the ones at 1:50 in this song, cause those are just shitty

0:00-0:20 great intro 0:21-1:39 lame breakdown then 5 seconds of piano 0:45-0:49 stupid growl 0:55-1:02 badass breakdown, 1:03-1:21 retard breakdown 1:22-1:36 awesome riff,1:37-1:51 another badass riff, 1:52-2:22 gaytarded breakdowns, 2:23-2:36 its a good breakdown but they drag it on too much 2:38-2:43 they do that stupid growl thing, then the rest of it is more gay ass breakdown...

why do people fail at understanding what makes a breakdown cool?
