This doesn't look like her and some things like the irises, nose, and so on are distorted. Perhaps, just take more time into the proportions before you start to go in more with the details. You can nail it.

And oh.... about copying from photographs.... it isn't such a bad idea. I use to practice or to take reference from them to improve my drawing. Well done. Nice portrait, but I'd like to make a few suggestions. First of all, the mouth is off angle a bit. Make sure you pay attention to the tilt of the mouth. It can make all the difference in a portrait. Secondly, the nose is a bit too pointed on the right side. Curving it more will help. Thirdly, crevice beneath the nose is off angle as well and too large on the right side. Fourthly, the cheekbones are still a bit flat. Add some highlights to make them 3D. Other than that, splendid work!

There is nothing wrong with trying to profit off of your artwork when you obviously have talent, but if you are going to try to profit off of celebrity artwork, you should at least be able to do them justice. Honestly, in my opinion, if you are trying to depict a celebrity, especially one such as Celine, the drawing should look exactly if not better than the celebrity him/herself.

As a professional artist and painter, the detail is amazing... But astheticaly, I'm sorry, its horrific. Everything is so disproportionate. Its good that you work well and quickly but i suggest working slower and taking more time to get a better quality picture showing your full potential. Goodluck! :)

@sada934 I wouldn't draw her or any other celebrity....I have no ability to make a video. I can give you links to my art, but what good does it do you when you don't know who it is supposed to look like. Drawing celebrities is like intentionally writing pop music to make money. In any case, if I was marketing myself on here, I would not get my feelings hurt by critique. He is a good artist, but that shouldn't blind him from seeing obvious flaws. If this was my work, I wouldn't even post it.

@cecadasong I 2nd that motion! It's a real pity, too. The face is very unsymetrical. I'd say some definate work on proprtion is needed, and perhaps a little extra practice on noses and mouths. The eyes in all of your potraits, however, show great depth. Keep it up, I had the same problems.

If you didn't say this was supposed to be Celine, I would not quite have guessed who you were drawing... the proportions are just a bit off. Still, you have some maad skills in terms of technique, it looks like a very realistic "person".

I agree, her nose is not straight down like it's supposed to be. Her right nostril veers to the right and has a huge round ball at the tip. Like Santa Clause. Celine's nose has a tip you notice, but not that big and it doesn't curve. Some shading could have helped. Keep going, you'll get there. :)
Well.... I'm 13 and ppl say that I draw really good but one of my big problem is shading (which is really important) in my drawings.... And I've never taken lesson and I don't want to I think it's a wast of time.... :s

that's the tough thing about drawing....if the proportions and the outlining at the beginning aren't right you can be as good as you want at shadowing and it still won't look as it should...so all the work is almost for nothing

Besides that, it would make sense to assume that almost all of the 844 people who like this, are either not artists or they are not as good as anatomicus. I am not claiming he has no talent. I'm pointing out the obvious need for improvement

If you didn't say this was supposed to be Celine, I would not quite have guessed who you were drawing... the proportions are just a bit off. Still, you have some maad skills in terms of technique, it looks like a very realistic "person".

I agree, her nose is not straight down like it's supposed to be. Her right nostril veers to the right and has a huge round ball at the tip. Like Santa Clause. Celine's nose has a tip you notice, but not that big and it doesn't curve. Some shading could have helped. Keep going, you'll get there. :)

Well.... I'm 13 and ppl say that I draw really good but one of my big problem is shading (which is really important) in my drawings.... And I've never taken lesson and I don't want to I think it's a wast of time.... :s

You can draw a lot better than most of us, but please do try to consider my critic - work on the eyes. I don't like the way you did them in this video. They looked like they came from two different people :S please don't get offended, try to understand what I'm telling you. I have been drawing my whole life.. I still can't draw as nearly as good as you, but I just don't try as much lol
I love your work, and you can still upgrade yourself and draw even better :D cheers

that's the tough thing about drawing....if the proportions and the outlining at the beginning aren't right you can be as good as you want at shadowing and it still won't look as it should...so all the work is almost for nothing
