  • Great song, real blues!

  • I'm a Pat Ramsey fan, I really am !

  • This is a harp lesson of epic value.

  • Nice duel between Pat and the guitarist

  • oh god, this man was great!

  • I have learned so much from listening to Pats work on this tune......, especially from the intro and from when he starts soloing....and that bent note with added vibrato from 1.24 to 1.32 is a lesson all on it's own.

OK I admit I have taken harmonica on.....full time... after playing guitar for 30 odd years.

It is a major challenge to be able to coax my harmonica to do what I know I can make my old '62 Strat do with a little effort.

    Thanks Pat........

  • The more I listen to this...the more I love it.

Pat's tone and phrasing and delivery is stunning. Great guitar work. The ending is a 'school' report on how a tight band sounds, brilliant.

Eloise, your clarification on....visual vs audio...is gracious and informative. Thanks.

  • Love it.....just love it.

  • To all: This is John Wentzein on bass. For some reason, Steve synched up videos of me playing with the sound from the album with John on bass. I hope all the other posts with me on video have me also playing bass with the sound. John, I have a gig on Monday night at the Apple Barrel, if you can manage to make it and play behind the curtain for me again, as usual. Let me know. Check is in the mail.

  • that was some slammin harmonica!

  • Love the bass player, excellent triplet-fills in your lines, very tasty and grooving.

  • Pure legend.

    RIP

  • God I miss Pat!

  • thought of you when I just watched this again...how it would make you feel, J. What a cool road video Steve put together, showing Pat and his Band having fun and just how good they all were together. I know you've been on those highway, seeing the same views through the windshield, with 'too many drivers at the wheel'. I've been looking at my photos of the two of you, remembering him. RIP Pat. I bet you've picked up the phone to call him so many times already.

    So sorry, baby. :(

  • Swift, sweet, in your face, a brilliant harmonica player. God bless Pat Ramsey.

  • RIP Pat. My thoughts are with your Family and Friends

  • I'll never forgot you Pat... Where ever you're I hope you'll be in the state of happiness

  • Lovin' the feel, great vocals and harp playing and the bass player kicks some serious ass

  • Up there with the top harp players on YouTube and great blues voice. Love the trading licks with the guitar. Perfect recording mix of the band which isn't heard that often. Kudo's to the sound guys.

  • Great !!!!!!!! Pat Sound is amazing. He is the king of the triplets, cuadruplets !!!!

  • That sounds almost exactly the same as SRV's Pride & Joy, still sweet as hell though.

  • Good JOB!

  • HEY!---THAT'S ME! (on bass) on that video..Nice editing job by the way..Who did it?

  • I did John...I was wondering how long it would take you to figure this out...almost a year

  • @jwentzien

if everyone listens from the intro to the
