Rain, pine tar and wood bats

I definitaly prefer wood bats. i just started playing in a league that requires wood bats and it starts again in march it really does prepare you if u plan to go farther in baseball. and for some reason i do better with a wood bat than aluminum

im 12 and this summer am playing in a wood bat league and wanted to know what is pinetar supposed to do ive seen the george brett incident and was just was wonderin what does pinetar do
