I believe that discrimination of any kind is disgraceful. People with autism get a real hard time. Leave them be. Autism's just a fuckin' word anyway! It doesn't mean shit.
Children under 2 years old are very sensitive to their mother's subconscious state. They pick up any stress, material desire, pride, fear and etc. from their mom. What are the consequences? Autism, depression, violence..and etc. Change within, your inner impression of the world, accept self forgiveness, love and your children will get better. And stop vaccines before they are 2 years old. If you have to do them, descrease their quantity and do only basic ones after a child is 2..
i agree.:I it makes me sick when ppl ask whats wrong with my little brother. they always say "whats wrong with him?" and i always reply "hes not broken." some people are just stupid and it makes me so mad!Dx
Autism rose 300% when vaccines wee mandates in the early 80s in various states in the USA....you are Wrong about the Autistic Spectrum BS......do some research....this is the line that Vaccine Manufacturers want you to believe...Autism is caused by Encephalitis.....due to a Toxic , Viral , bacterial, or physical shock to the Brain.....The vaccine schedule for a newborn to 2 years old puts the child at high risk for a TOXIC INSULT TO THE BRAIN ! my son went into seizures after his MMR Vaccine !
so basically, they just want to get away from the idiotic people surrounding them (including their inferior parents). i can relate to that. i often avoid eye-contact with inferior idiots and mostly prefer to retreat into my own imaginary world which doesn't include the vast majority of foolish people i'm surrounded by each day. does that make me autistic?
PLEASE check out a great Children's book about Autism, PDD and ADHD called 'Why Is He Different?' Just copy and paste the following sentence in youtube search window: 'Why Is He Different? (Autism Book)'
You can also buy this book on AthsePublishing(dot)com. Thank You !!
this is a brief general description best for those not interested in an in-depth explanation. if you want to further your studies that's fine, but this is a good starting point and he didn't seem to mean any offense in any way to anyone with autism so i don't know where all the rage is coming from.
I've got AS and for those of you that think that its a bad thing, it isnt, the only people that think its a bad thing, are the people without it, the people with it don't care for those without it because they don't have to know/care. We deal with it, so you "normal" people should also deal with it/us.
some people who have autism are retarded. do not shun me for saying this. that is what it is, Although some people with autism are normal, mabey even just one sign of autism, like a speech impedemant. I agree, this fucktard needs to explain what i had said in the middle of this comment.
when i was at a christian the teachers found out i was diasnosed with autism so i had to repeat kindergarden even though when i was younger i was an angry child
oh my god i had that! see, i was diagnosed with autism at age 2...but with the help of my parents and teachers i entered mainstream school by 5..but saw social workers and speech teachers until about 9 or 10. now im the total opposite...for more details since im proud of my story you can message me...but anyway...just before i was diagnosed i was going to a catholic preschool and they kicked me out due to hyperactivity and my behavior in general!
and it just disgusts me how some people are just...ignorant almost. and i agree..those who say autism is a disease or even like makes a person stupid..just makes me SO MAD!
Yeah, I know, It's just like with Bipolar disorder, they don't take it seriously and just keep making fun of it. But I'll tell you what? Somebody they'll get Bipolar or Autism, and whichever one they get, they'll regret making those ignorant comments because then they'll realize what they've been making fun of.
@soccercrystal429 There are varying forms of autism. Children with really bad autism can't speak and don't seem to be aware of other people at all. THAT is what is being referred to.
He also doesn't say it's a disease, it's a quote "developmental disorder".
It disgusts me how some people are just .. ignorant almost. Unable to view the world beyond their own little perspective. Autism doesn't make you stupid, it just makes you unable to communicate or just unaware of it. Watch "Temple Grandin"
My each step son is autistic and I work with autistic children... I used the wrong word "disorder" should have been used.. yes autism is very complex... and not every person is the same... that is why they use the terminology "spectrum"... I hope I did not offend anyone.. on my brain fart.
No, disorder is fine- disorder really just means "doesn't work like normal". Just don't say "retardation" or the even more inaccurate phrase "spastic".
I've been diagnosed wth asperger's , I've read tones about it and I met a lot of people with Asperger's as well as autism. Autism is a horrible diease and I feel extremely sorry for the people affected by it and their faimileis. When it comes to Asperger's though , I don't fuckin understand why the fuck normal people are being fuckin labeled. I'm a fuckin normal person b,just because I have a few fuckin problems in life doesn't mean I'm fuckin ill
hmm this was too vague of an explanation.. autism is so complex and by saying our children with autism are in their own world is just the tip of the iceberg
Wait, are you saying autism is a label and not labeling autism as a disease? In that case, you should know that I love having autism and I hate curebies.
What I meant was, that autism was described to me as a label - NOT a disease. The only "diagnosis" is a list of symptoms... I swear, I'm not meaning to offend at all - this is something I'm very interested and invested in. I've got a little boy in my life who I love more than life itself who has autism, so all of this is important to me.
It's not a nice label- it's like calling a chinese person a chinkey or saying "That's gay" as an equivilent to saying "That's disapointing". Well, I can't control your word choice- I'm jut saying that I'm not the only one thats gonna say that to you.
I think I'm autistic.

@MustNotRead I can relate to that also, I can't look at inferior people in the eye
TheSuperOlioliolioli 1 year ago
@MustNotRead *Sigh* It's a lot more complicated than how he *VERY VAGUELY* outlined it with 3 principal symptoms.
If life were so simple as to just withdraw, it would be nice. But Autism leads to such incredible loneliness and despair.

unfortuna6ely with a lot of circumstances you have to have the "label" to get the services the child needs
KEV2620 5 years ago
Personally, I wear the label with pride but when people label autism as a disease rather than a disorder, IT MAKES ME MAD! Otherwise, you're right.
KuraiGaka 5 years ago
Makes me mad too! I ain't ashamed of what i am; I may not live my life like 80% of the worlds population do, but I live it like 20%!

I didn't mean it was a GOOD label... I only meant that people use that label to identify a list of symptoms. So, it's not a "disease" - it's a label.
