Air pollution in Ulaanbaatar

I've been using the Respro Techno anti-pollution mask for over a year now while cycling in UB, winter and summer, and that does the trick. The filter has to be replaced periodically and it costs money, but it stops the smoke from doing much damage. I'm planning to build an earthship near UB, which is a house made out of recycled materials and requires little or no heating even in the Mongolian winter and doesn't use coal plant. Instead of criticizing other people,don't contribute to the problem!
