Nice review. I didn't know such a thing existed. It seems like a great idea for casual hikers since fire starter is easy to forget but crucial to have.

Is the compass on this thing any good? I wish they had one that contains everything this specific one has + a compass and a thermometer. I don't think it would take up that much space, but it would really make it a complete emergency-just-in-case-God-knows-what-happens tool.

Thanks, that is really what we try to do.. short ans sweet so you can get to know the product .. works best with these fairly simple tools of course
