FYROM is nothing more than NATO puppets used to destroy the strongest economyand country in the Balkans in order for the germans and french to sell more of their products (guns also...) in Europe. I've spent a lifetime among Greeks. I'm related to Greeks now. And there is no more xenophobic and ethnocentric people in Europe, than the Greeks.

Things have been getting a bit better during the last decade, but the Greeks have a very, very LOOOONG WAY to go, and MUCH, MUCH to learn, when it comes to tolerance and co-existence.

@Makedonier oh really?...and how it comes everything u find their is written in Greek?...i was in Pella i did see al those writings with my own eyes Makedonia is Hellenic ...your ancestors come 6th century and since then they r living in those region under otttoman empire u startet to call ur selfe Makedonians ...just like nowadays after a few Generation Americans Canadians or Aussie doing it

Macedonians are descendants of ALL the peoples who have inhabited, settled and conquered that land, since eternity. Is that so hard to accept?

The fact that they speak a Slavic language is irrelevant. They could shift to Chinese tomorrow, and they'd still be Macedonians. Most Natives in the US don't speak native languages. They're still "Indians".

@SadieMirsade Not true, I am afraid. Pontiac people speak Russian AND Greek. Greeks in southern Italy speak Italian AND Greek. Northern Epirus people speak Slav AND Greek. There is a continuity as a result of the historical and cultural long Greek past, that the other countries you have mentioned do not have. And honestly? They teach you how to hate Greeks for NATO's future use... It is not the name the problem, it is what lies underneath...Open your eyes!

My parents are from Aegian Macedonia and they are in Macedonia from 1948 like other 100000 people. I agree that they on wrong side at the moment, but i hope you are aware on your Macedonian(not Greek) past.
