@Andrejino 2 GB isn't virtual shared memory, it's just plain system memory, any video allocation for the system RAM is purely out of Win7's discretion for the OS itself. Vista and Win7 are known to allocated up to 2 GB of SRAM for the purpose of OS visual resources that otherwise are of no use to the video card. The GPU and VRAM only handles what it's being tasked with to render the general desktop hence why "128 MB required" is what you see as far as VRAM is concerned about running Aero.
@mobius1aic As for general system RAM amount for Vista and Win7, 2 GB will work OK, but optimally you want 4 GB when it comes to gaming, though 8 GB isn't out of the question especially if you're into content creation.
@Andrejino Hypermemory? I though AMD had finally and fortunately abandoned that scheme a while back since it's already pretty cheap to load cards up with DDR3 memory modules.
I sold this computer a couple months ago (it was upgraded beyond the 5570 after this video was made though), but IIRC it could do about 25 FPS average with Crysis on high. I wouldn't know how it would do on Crysis 2, as it's a bit more demanding on the minimum specs, but lower on recommended specs. I would imagine the 5570 would do okay at the "high setting".
@fresca9990211 It's not the absolute best graphics card but it can afford you a very good PC gaming experience never the less (much better than the 360 lol).
I have a hd5570 2gb (jaguar) and i run this at around 1400x900 on a 26" monitor. It does surprisingly well, but I do notice if I play in windowed mode it drastically changes the fps and lag, but who wants to play in windowed mode? This card is fantastic in my opinon, its like the stealthiest mofo and it can run high end games fairly well. I tried 1920x1200 on this game...and...not so good heh, but what do you expect?
@Bonna96 FRAPS has the capacity to create alot of lag, I think it's very much an issue attributed to the need of FRAPS probably having to access the framebuffer to make a copy of each frame for the recording, which would be very memory bandwidth heavy I would assume. Some games suffer very badly, some other are hardly effected at all. Crysis, like most games tend to lose 20% (or even more) of the FPS.
@xxxthegamersxxx Run the game in DX9 and see if it improves anything. Your CPU could also be limiting performance, though generally Crysis does pretty well with dual cores.
@littlebigalex It's all high settings in DX9 mode. System specs are an Athlon II x4 2.8 GHz, 2 GB DDR3-1333, Win7 32 bit and of course the Radeon 5570 1 GB.
@GunnaLeeeeeee It's a good GPU, just held back by low memory bandwidth. The 5670 is more or less the "real deal" version since it's GDDR5 equipped, much higher clocked. However the 5570 is so far the best low profile 5xxx series Radeon. MSI does have a low profile 5670 on the way, as well as Powercolor 5750, but so far they have yet to be available for retail, probably not until mid to late September. I changed my case to one that can accept a full size graphics card, so I need not worry.
@XboxKittyProductions It should. Memory size tends to hold the 360 and PS3 back by a fair amount. Also the GPU in the 5570 is quite a bit more powerful than what the 360 has, about twice as much.
I've ordered this card, but the XFX 1GB DDR2 version instead of DDR3, will it make a big difference if I want to play Crysis with the same settings as you?
@jollytorax It probably will. DDR2 is slower in speed than DDR3, which effects memory bandwidth and therefore performance. You should be able to pull off medium settings, or I at least imagine........
oh yeah...one more thing...u have 1GB DDR3+2GB virtual shared memory for win 7 or vista...is that enough? ;)

@mobius1aic , honestly I test Crysis on XP where is no loaded hyper memory...almost 20fps was droped...and on windows 7 20fps was incrised.
So if u ask me...I will stick to this cards with hyper memory and play on windows 7 with better fps ;)

I buy VTX HD 5570 ver.2 1GB DDR3 (2GB Hyper Memory support for Windows 7 and vista) .
Very good graphic card for low price :)

@MetaGamers2010 You can play Crysis 2 on Hardcore. ;)
I have a Intel Core i7 E-990 3,96 GHZ
16 GB DDR3 Memory
Radeon HD 5570 1 GB DDR-3
And I have ~80 FPS.
With my Intel Dual-Core E5200 ~ 2,5 GHZ
3 GB DDR3 Memory
ATI Radeon HD 5570 1 GB DDR3
You have ~ 40 - 45 FPS.
Yes. You can play Crysis 2 on Hardcore. ;)))

Hey, do you recommend AMD Athlon || x4 640 ? Is it good ? Or go for phenom || x2 560 black editon ? (it doesn't overclock to 4 cores now)

@manoragas I would go with the Athlon II x4. The L3 cache on the Phenom II x2 isn't worth sacrificing two full cores for.

Well the game is GPU dependent. Your 8 GB and i7 are overkill. For a low end GPU running the game in high settings at 720p, it does so very well.
