When would there be a show in upstate NY, if ever? Any idea what tuning? I figured a lot of this out in open c with a friend of mine but it looks radically different when we play it. Maybe its because we're compensating for the third guitarist we don't have but I think it's a tuning issue.

I like it as a trio, but I think it's best as a duet. Andy's live duet with Antoine Dufour is absolutely beautiful, and let's not forget Craig and Antoine's. As for this trio, I think it's a little too much talent overload here, you can't really take in all the flavors because they're drowned out with other tastes.

Craig, since you have seen Antoine's playing more up close, could you tell me how he gets that slapping sound on the high E-string and the G-string during the main riff? is it the work of the magical rings, or some kind of slap n' pull technique?

I believe he brings back his middle finger and flicks the string. It doesn't seem he has to put a lot of force into it, because his nails are really strong.

I would normally think that three gutiars playing different parts of a complex song would just create a mosh of sound.

At no point during this song was that even remotely the case. Oh my god it was amazing! I felt like my throat was falling apart from the power of Antoines composition.

This is real music. It's so refreshing to hear music like this! Amazingly, I tuned into my local classical radio station (88.7 KUHF in Houston, TX) and they were playing pieces from "The Thing that came from Somewhere" by Don Ross and Andy McKee! Keep up the great work, guys!
