Review: PDP Afterglow AX.1 Wired Xbox 360 Controller

How do you set this up to work on the PC ? will it work on any game on the pc and can you use it in games like Shogun total war 2 and use xpadder with it so you never have to use the W,A,S,D keys to move around ?

Well, i can get it for £14.99 BUT for an extra £3 (more or less) i can get an official XBOX controller, so personally i would rather pay the extra couple of quid for a proper Microsoft XBOX controlller.

i think this controller is great its , more sensitive then the reg Xbox controller and some how i changed it so it lights up only with the vibrations, sick

@ridion5 Yea the button at the back does that you have 3 modes on, off an rumble activated just press the button or if it's an older one move the switch at the back

i need a new controller because my official microsoft controller the joy sticks are going bad u lightly push one of them ever so slightly to the left and the camera or character will continue to slowly move until u push the stick in the other direction. if there is a quick way to fix this i would be greatfull to an answer. all i have is like $30 right now. yeah

the wire started to get lose and the inside wires break when i roll the controller it broke not worth it

I bought this controller, but 4 months later, the analog sticks are beginning to stick or drift in some instances. Difficult in Skyrim when you're trying to pick locks (picks break even if I'm not touching it) or look at your skills because the game picks up the slightest movement. I haven't spilled anything on it or dropped it. Is this normal for a controller after 4 months of reasonable use? Warranty is only 90 days =(

its a good controller but the analog sticks.. its very small for fps games not recommended

theres a problem with the right thunb stick on mine were if you look up it changes the default position to about half way down and vise verse the default poition is basically never in the center it worked regularly for about 3 or 4 weeks probably maby more then it started happening it mostly looks down tho so if your playing a game on the Xbox your guy will randomly start to look down but if your playing on the computer it is more constant and it can not be re calibrated i would like to fix this

the sticks are terrible on this controller they arent nearly as sensitive as the MS controller

It sticks to your hands and messes you up.. I got purple 1 and idk if I have vibration on bcuz I felt a lil bit of it but it had wack vibration where's da button?

I actually like the analog sticks on the afterglow a lot better than the regular xbox controller. On the afterglow, the sticks are longer and not as stiff which lets you be a lot more accurate and use a higher sensitivity. The analogs on the regular xbox controller are stiff and are shorter.

I bought won of this controllers first time played with it very impressed only problems is the LEDs I never have them on because they distract me. But over all very good

I'm looking to buy an official Xbox controller for Windows as just what you proved, third party controllers tend to have some faults and in this case when it's with the control sticks, it's a big issue in FPS/precision gaming. Very good review but I'll pass. Going for the official.
