As you all have agreed that its a good video except relegious flavour. You all must understand that the point is that :"these were all written many years in "BIBLE" .. written by 4000 years span by 37 different authours..
I am the master of your fear. I am your worst nightmare. I am god's greatest foe. I am the one and only prince of Hell. Futile prayers lead the way to suffering. In the darkest nights where you can not hide. In the deepest woods I watch over you. You'll embrace me while your god is defeated. I shall show you to the euphoria of the pit. Your pleasures will come to reality. I am the master of your world. Shiver from the presence of his dark power. You are now under our command.
The simple principles for looking after your body and maintaining good or even excellent health are sound. Don't be put off by the religious overtones if that is not your thing. And remember........... be grateful everyday for the good things you have, even if you are feeling extremely deprived. Can you see? can you walk? Can you breathe? Could you buy food today, or did you receive free food? Can you appreciate the sky and clouds? Feel grateful every day and move into the flow.
The Word of Wisdom is the common title for a revelation that counsels Latter-day Saints on maintaining good health and is published as Doctrine and Covenants: section 89 in the 1800's. The practice of abstaining from all forms of alcohol, tobacco, coffee, tea, than any other practice. Many belive in different health codes, but we should really base our practices in scripture, in both the old and new testaments, the Lord allows his followers to eat meat. He himself ate fish!
Very well done video. Very useful information, with well-supported facts. The only real comment I have here is that these principles are the core of health regardless of one's religious beliefs. They are keys to health in all religions and philosophies. So, to emphasize Christianity above all others, in this particular instance, is very limiting and exclusionary, hence divisive. Thank you for your efforts... :-)
Cont. We need to clear our conciseness of lies and false teachings. Only Christ teaches the truth. The Chinese and Asian cultures have been so far ahead in the wisdom of health. The body has 12 main meridians (12 deciples of the body) they control energy flow around the body, these need to be in balance and strong to have good health. Our minds are so much more powerful than the body that the wrong held thought can interfere with the meridians energy flow
for as you think therefore you are: Most disease or sickness is believing a lie. Some Aboriginal cultures believed that sickness came from sin. Christ himself once said, " get up and walk your sins are now forgiven". We were not designed to be sick. For what we hold in mind is what we become. Yes it is important to eat right and get plenty of rest and sunshine, clean air and water. But we also need to hold the right mindset and beliefs.
The original food the Creator gave to man is: "Yahwah also said, "Look, I have given you every seed-bearing plant on the surface of the entire earth, and every tree whose fruit contains seed. This food will be for you" (Genesis 1: 29).
@Sabbath2013 Yes but the world was a different place then. He also said that there are certain animals meat that we can eat also. So then a strict vegitarian diet is "not" what God is recomending is it.
The questions I would pose to everyone who opposes a vegetarian diet:
Do you think that we will kill animals in the New Jerusalem for food? i.e. will there be any death in the New Earth? Why not start getting used to a friendly, pain and death-free diet now? Besides the fact that it is, by far, the healthiest? Love all of you!
I have been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis since 1996 and I am using medication. One time, I tried not to take one of the medications and I got very sick. Since I fell about 5 yrs ago and cracked my heat, I have issues with panic attacks and fury attacks if I don't take the medication. I can't afford the treatments. Avonex once every week costs over $3,000 a month. Is there still hope for me? I don't eat pork, beef, rarely any meat. I know trust is onew of the issues. I NEED HELP!
I like this video but have you read Genesis 1:30? and how about Genesis 9:3?
Most vegetarian diet come from the Hindi culture, not from the Judeo-Christian culture. Yoga and vegetarian is a form of cultivating a religion that is Hinduism. write in your search: HinduismVege
If you are still skeptic, write in your search:diet-tips/why-we-need-meat/
@susellee Yes, but do you think eating meat 2/3 times a day is good? What was written in the Lawbook was there for a guide. Back then & even only 60yrs ago you would be lucky to eat meat 1-2x a mth. Cows were kept for milk/cheese/kefir. Chickens were kept for eggs. They didnt kill them daily as the main food base would be gone within a few wks. Its only now that we have an abundance of meat, so people mistakenly have substituted an 80-90% raw diet with meat.
If we have a close relationship with God he will guide us in our diet. He uses the Bible, illnesses and cravings. What concerns me is the philosophy behind the diet.
So He said to them, “Are you thus without understanding also? Do you not perceive that whatever enters a man from outside cannot defile him, because it does not enter his heart but his stomach, and is eliminated, thus purifying all foods?”[a] And He said, “What comes out of a man, that defiles a man.
@susellee That verse you quoted has nothing to to with what the disciples were eating, He was referring to eating with unwashed hands. Acts chapter 10 WELL AFTER Christ death and resurrection, Peter was still keeping the dietary law. And please note that that chapter Christ was talking about the Gentiles. BUt you can't teach vegetarianism as a doctrine. We can eat meat, as outlined in Lev 11 and Deut 23
I agree that we can eat meat. (Gn 1:30; 9:3), just as vegees or nuts. Could you explain the chapter of Mk 7 (In 500 words or less. Its not me is You Tube :D)
@susellee Hello. Well first off Gn 1:30 actually was a vegetarian diet. However he did allow us to eat meat after the flood. and there were clean and unclean beast them and noah knew which were which Gen Chp 7. In MK 7:2 you see that the disciples were about to eat with unwashed hands. vs3 tells us that the pharisees washed their hands oft b4 they ate hold to the TRADITIONS of the ELDERS. No command from Yah. vs 4 shows it was just ceremonial washing. vs5 traditions of the elders.
@susellee vs6-8 he tell them that they are hypocrites teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. The washing and cleansing which in and of it self is not a bad thing but they reject Yahs commandments in the process. Nothing to do with the type of food you eat. Yah commanded what type of food we should eat in lev 11 and deut 14. Christ would not preach against the law contrary to belief. its just not a sin to eat with dirty hands. They made a show to be clean outside but were filthy inside
@susellee The pharisees made it a point to try to elaborate and clarify Yahs laws really only to make themselves look righteous. remember Christ did not do away with law. He took he curse for when we fall short. He is the sacrifice. We should still observe the law and the prophets. From the sabbath to the dietary law and the feast days.if you have any other ?'s feel free. Or if I wasn't clear enough let me know.
Hola @pgill61 > Lets start at the begging, it’s better then starting at the middle >.< ! I do have two questions that still bother me. By definition a doctrine is a belief (or system of beliefs) accepted as authoritative by some group or school. Who teaches the vegetarian diet, man or God? In Genesis 1:30, to whom was God allowing eating meat, was it Noah and his family or was it Adam and Eve?
@susellee a doctrine is simply "what is taught" it can be from man or Yah. Mans teaching means nothing if it is not derived from the bible. Once he put the fear in man of animals and vice versa he allowed the post flood population to eat meat. I have read genesis many times and I know what it says. But Yah told us in Lev 11, and Deut 14 what "MEATS" we can eat or can't eat. All i'm just saying is you can't teach against eating meat like its a commandment. It isn't. Read romans 14
@susellee I figured. But your last comment almost sounded as though you were making a case against it. Was just a little thrown is all. But these guys are a little off on that and the lunar Sabbath.
I was writing of those young man and woman in Christ. I wanted to tell them that it is ok to eat of all the things that God created.
I am afraid that new believers who have to drink spiritual milk, could not digest the philosophy behind the vegetarian diet. Christ die to set us free from bondage and becoming a strict vegetarian put us back in bondage.
Have a great Thanks Giving dinner (potatoes, cranberry and turkey, yumm!)
There are a lot of poor people in Mexico. Just as in India, Mexico has been bless by God with a great variety of flora and fauna. Not eating meat is a conscious decision base on culture not on survival.
To the Hindus killing is bad karma, that is the reasoning behind the concept of eating only vegetables. To the Judeo-Christian killing is not a sin but hatred of your brother is as bad as murder (1 Jn. 3:15).
Wow, I just went vegan about 2wks ago. I wish I would've seen this video earlier-lol.....
