I really like your tone a lot man. It has that sort of distorted clean sound, if that makes sense. Like if you played a barre chord it wouldn't sound really messy, but very distinct. It reminds me of the tone Petrucci had on his rock discipline DVD (or I guess VHS). Really good for prog type stuff.

Oh, and it also helps that you play amazingly. Keep it up.

@GusBounas cheers mate. all my gear details are listed on my profile. as for which guitar you should buy, i have no idea! just go for the one that feels or sounds the best to you. the only thing is everyone and their mum has a ibanez, i think carvins are much more unique, and better value for money. hope this helps
