As an English viewer, the inaccuracies in this make is completely laughable. Eg: the British police don't use Blackhawks and they don't have "lieutenant" as a rank. (which would be pronounced "left-tenant", BTW). "Lieutenant" is a strictly military rank. Also, Integra Hellsing would be addressed as "Dame", not "Ser", as in "Dame Helen Mirren".

Oh, and Seras is not wearing a Met uniform and pansy like her would never make it anyway.

Amusing to watch, but more research was needed.

I think this is better than Ultimate, because frankly; Alucard seems more badass. Although Serras is cooler in Ultimate. The soundtrack in this is makes me love it even more. Ultimate is probably more for the male audience because of how much Serras is shown compared to Alucard. (This being I've only seen a few episodes.)

@BoilingJD It has a more serious focus on the characters, the events seem to affect everyone around London, not just Hellsing, and most important of all, it has good old Alucard (Dracula) in it. Just as badass as he ever was, in fact due to the more serious nature he might be even more badass in this :p

It has decent action scenes for 2001, not outstanding but very good in their own right. I like that it doesn't focus on just the action. Its more refreshing to see that in these series :)

@toxicitzi I still did not get the answer I expected.. BTW Right now I'm like 8 episodes deep, and editing is SHIT, like holly molly!! And animation is.... not good at all.... Story line haves some serious issues. And Alucard gets less time than the over the top boobed girl. How do you explain that!! The guy on the front cover, gets the least screen time!! So pleas explain to me, as I am a "dum idiot who knows nothing about true anime", what it the big deal about Hellsing!!!!

@BoilingJD well you just got to the good part, my advice is don't skip anything while watching the episodes because all the scenes fill each other.

I didn't see much issue over the story line other than you never find out who designed the chips, but that's only because the series were cancelled. so.. that's an entirely different issue with the story :|

the editing isn't shit, you should explore some bad and I mean really bad anime to see what real "SHIT" editing is, I know I did .. ;))

@BoilingJD as for Alucard, its true. He gets less screen time and I have the feeling he only comes in to end a crisis, like he should imo because he's perfect for ending a crisis.

I know the Ultimate series did it different, but again I need to address some things in both the manga and Ultimate series are explained much better in here. Seras' training is shown, she wasn't forced by Alucard to become a vampire which shows a little emotion from our main cover Character ;p

This is another thing I liked, the way Integra and Alucard spoke. It was more than master to servant and I love it since it shows Integra doesn't just take Alucard's effort for granted :)

It took some time to reach the outer states and by that time, in Japan hellsing was dead :/

and that happened at that point where Seras had grown out of that constant innocent persona.. damn shame too, she seemed quite in control while killing a douzen of those vampire freaks and Incognito's, well, apprentice I think..
