@zenarrrow thats because the main stream media spoon feeds the public stories like how many holes did tiger plug..celebrity stories are more important than a few million trees dying.. or a bunch of wild life and fishermen that are about to get screwed by big oil.!!! they don't want the average puplic to know the truth about how bad the world is getting from species extinction, deforistation pollution poverty modern day slavery you name it they don't cover it..
@cruxan007 Although I agree on 90% of what you say, all but "big oil" blame. Yes BP is responsible for the rig and the drilling, but for the disaster it is all of us with our ever growing appetite for oil. All the media and even the president rush to appoint blame but do not buy it. If we did not have such an appetite for it they would be insuch demand, think about it... Everything we do we is contributing, PC's (coal) all manufacturing (oil) if we were truly honest we would get off the grid
Wow, I just heard about this through a very small online radio station last week. I live in Cali, I'm really surprised more light hasn't been shed on this.
I recently drove to Alberta from BC, on the way you can see all destruction. Mostly in the interior area. It's hard to imagine they can spread so fast.
