@starsweet4 Because This episode was based on the story of Cinderella. Stacy was Stacyrella, and Martika and Renee were the ugly stepsisters. The episode is entitled One Glass Slipper. It's from the 1985 season. You can watch it on you tube if you want to see it.
I wish this would come out on DVD, I loved the first few seasons, until Martika left and then I was getting too old for the show I think! My daughter would love this!
@coolhairmel It isn't officially, but I bought the ENTIRE collection from someone selling it on ioffer.com last year. Even though the quality is poor on some episodes, I am THRILLED to have it to watch!! :) Do a search there. I hope you find and enjoy watching with your daughter. Classic and wonderful tv show.
@LAWoman323213 You know I was thinking THE SAME EXACT THING! LOL The white French 18th century dress, the fan choreography on 0:46. I wouldn't be surprised that Madonna did get her inspiration for it. LOL
I was a teenager when this was on TV and, of course, thought it was garbage... I see it now through my 6 year old's eyes and I can appreciate it for what it truly was -- the last time on TV children would ever truly BE children.
Children experience and know waaaaaaay too much even before puberty these days. Shame...
@mominator822 Thank you!!! You took the words right from my mouth. The media is stealing our children's childhoods. I'm glad this show was on TV when I was little. I was a little kid for 10 years and those were the best ten years of my life!!!!
I think this is my fav kids incorporated video from this season, if not from all of them. Stacy had such a talented voice and this episode made me laugh. I like this better than the original, but I guess that may just be because I'm not really a part of the modonna era.
yea i wish it was too, or they could do a reunion and bring the cast in :D it would have like fergie, renee, martika, jennifer, mario, rahasan, ryan, devlyn ect :D
this is a GREAT cover!

cool, its a shame there are no shows like this now, although old, it would still be great.

This is probably where Madonna got her costume idea when she performed "Vogue" at the 1990 (or '91) VMAs.
