I've complimented this before...Have one question though. Did you ask the people's permission to film them? I spotted some faces I know and have to say think it would be unfair to include them without permission, especially with the judgements you make. Like I said, I like what the movie is saying but...

Hmm. We moved here 5 years ago - we live outside town. While it is ok for me and my husband ,my 18 year old got the shit kicked out of him just for walking in the street. There are some problems ok and the young fellas really don't help. Apart from that most people have been lovely to us. It's a shame I wont' walk down main street alone at night though - they ruin it for everyone. A LOT of assholes in this town. Trick is to not socialise in it I think. It is a shame - it could be fab here
Yep. The fact that young guys have been KILLED here freaks me out a bit - no doubt you heard about the young guy got into an argument in the local "nightclub", was followed out and then chased by car till the car caught him and hit him so hard he was thrown 30 feet in the air :( It's stuff like that - and that oul fella! My town in Scotland would be the equivalent to Arklow. Don't know if you've heard of Fraserburgh but drugs has been the real killer. Plenty of youngsters dying in car accidents too. It just destroys the community.

Yep, I agree...these social problems are arising in all small towns and cities with lots and lots of young people...The reasons for this should be examined rather than judge youth who wear certain clothes or get their kicks in certain ways. Rather than criticise we should consider the reasons...maybe then we can improve our home towns.

There is good and hard working people in the town, but this film is telling the truth, well over half the people on the dole are either alcoholics or junkies, the bridgewater centre was supposed to do some good for arklow but it is a waste of space, the `politicans` as they like to be call(who have never done anything good for arklow) are living in a dream world and are useless and lastly one way to make arklow better would be to destroy all the churchs in the town, brainwashing basterds!!!!!!!

A) the law relating to defamtion is grounded in the law of torts which is a civil matter and not criminal therefore noone can be prosecuted and only the state technically has the ability to "prosecute" someone. B) still doesn't excuse you from liability of suit from any person featured in a "false light" during the film. So i don't think my opinion is entirely unfounded.

There is good and hard working people in the town, but this film is telling the truth, well over half the people on the dole are either alcoholics or junkies, the bridgewater centre was supposed to do some good for arklow but it is a waste of space, the `politicans` as they like to be call(who have never done anything good for arklow) are living in a dream world and are useless and lastly one way to make arklow better would be to destroy all the churchs in the town, brainwashing basterds!!!!!!!

I live in Arklow and one thing you have definitely cleared up for any potential visitors...it is the ringpiece of Wicklow fairplay you obviously see it for what it is...i laughed when i saw the bloke at the bottom of the town saluting the traffic...quality, every town needs a weirdo,Arklow has enough for the whole fekin country!!

Ok child, just so you know Arklow does have a population of 20,000. This includes the surrounding areas. Why would u film cupholders? U must be a little odd. U could the view d modern shopping centre if you so pleased or you take in one of the sports games, how about Arklow Town under 16s who have nearly all been capped at international level. What a dick,j don't know why you've put this video up.I'd say in every town across ireland with a population of 20,000 people there is a minority of people who take drugs, this does not show that the huge majority of the people of Arklow don't. Arklow is a great town, fantastic new shopping centre, cinema, soccer/ rugby/gaa facilites, good pubs, good food. The town is not perfect& there is room to improve but it is not d hole you imply it is. Where are u from, cos it is not perfect either?

A) the law relating to defamtion is grounded in the law of torts which is a civil matter and not criminal therefore noone can be prosecuted and only the state technically has the ability to "prosecute" someone. B) still doesn't excuse you from liability of suit from any person featured in a "false light" during the film. So i don't think my opinion is entirely unfounded.
